Monday the girls had a doctor appointment. MJ is in the 95% for height and weight while Lil is in the 75% for both. They are both healthy and doing well. Lil only had one shot and MJ had 4. We decided that she would scream this year or next year with getting her kindergarten shots, so we thought we would get it over with. I'm not sure MJ agreed...oh well too late now.
Thursday we headed down to SLC for the day. Our first stop was the zoo. Good thing it was the HOTTEST day of the summer. I did not take very many pics. Sorry.
Cute little monkeys.
MJ and her cousin.
After the zoo MJ went with her cousin to his house. RB, Lil, and I went out to lunch and then to the Joseph Smith movie. We loved the movie and thought it was great. After the movie we met MJ at a park for her cousins b-day party. After sandwiches, cake, a pinata, and playing on the slides and swings everyone was tired. MJ is still in SLC staying a few days with her cousin until he comes here for a few days. That means we have one child again. I have to admit it is pretty quiet around here.
This morning we went golfing and had a blast. Now we are doing homework and trying to figure out Lil's new language. We are desperately trying to figure it out so we can understand what she is talking about. We are failing miserably! Here are the only two we know:
wha-pa = shoes
guck = any type of drink (water, milk, juice)
da = okay
Any ideas on what bugga is?

You've had a b-day Shout Hurray!
MJ's b-day was yesterday. She was so excited all day. She played with her new toys and was sung to in primary. She loves the frosting and was caught more than once doing this. She was really specific about her cake: strawberry cake with strawberry frosting with strawberries on top. Daddy forgot to buy the strawberries for on top though.
We tried to get some summer toys that both her and Lil could play with. This is a pic. of all her gifts from us and family.
This was MJ's favorite toy and Lil looks so cute air-guitaring.
MJ listening to music on her CD player. This makes me happy because I can only handle annoying kid songs for so long. Now I don't have to listen to them.
Poor Lil was doing great all day until 5pm. She got sick and by 7 this is how she was. She woke up at 9 and had a fever of 103. I'm so grateful for our home teacher who is willing to come over whenever needed to give blessings! Lil slept great, even though she has a fever again this morning.
I'm glad MJ did not get sick on her b-day. That would have been really sad. Happy B-day MJ we love you!

GR Trip
This first pic is for my mom. I forgot to post a picture of our kitchen door blinds. This picture does not do it justice but you get the idea. I love them.
Lil and my dad chillin.
Expedition Island had a park with these saucer swings. Way cool is there were not a million mosquitoes out. We stayed a whole minute before leaving.
We had a great time in GR. We floated the river twice, played many games, went golfing for the first time in my life, and ate a lot of food. Thanks mom for watching my girls while we were out so much. We'll be back soon before school starts again.

Lil is now TWO!
Lil did not get a choice in her birthday dessert. After my spice cake the night before we decided homemade Oreo's would have to do. They sure were good!
Playing will all the fun new presents.
Lil is lucky because almost every year we will celebrate her b-day at the Logan fireworks. Grandma brought cupcakes and Aunt A. brought the gift. They loved playing with their cousin.
All three kids watching the fireworks. Grateful it did not rain on us, and grateful someone turned off the sprinkler system this year so we did not have to run for it!
Lil loved the fireworks!
All three cute kids!
On the 4th we decided to stay home and set off our own fireworks. I'm glad we did. Our kids were tired. They loved watching them still though.
MJ was afraid at first to hold it but she finally did and really liked the sparklers.
Happy Late 4th everyone!

One year older and...
wiser too? Maybe not but here are some pics of my fun day that RB made really special by doing everything for me from cooking, diaper duty, and everything else. I love you honey!
RB is getting me into golf whether I want to or not. Good thing I really like it! Here is my golf cart so I don't have to haul my bag around.
Daddy playing with my foam balls. The girls loved them too.
They all wanted to help. Good thing too because I'm so old I couldn't do it by myself anymore. hehe.
