Halloween Carnival & Dancing

Last nigh we went to our schools Halloween Carnival. We had a good time. The girls loved the bounce houses, face stickers, pinko, and a ghost walk. Of course we got cotton candy as a treat, and we saw some of a magicians act. It was a fun night, and the kids liked wearing their costumes, even Buddy Boy!

Bounce House.

Daddy and Buddy Boy waiting for the girls in the bounce house.

Face stickers, and eating cotton candy.

What a beautiful witch.

Ms. M was the only one not in her costume. It just wasn't worth it by the time we got the other three in theirs. She will wear hers on Halloween and that will be enough.

Scary Ladybug!

Buddy loves to dance. He has some moves too! Sorry the movie is so shaky I was dancing certain ways trying to get him to dance differently. He hates when you dance with him though and that is why he stuck his hand out and screamed at me. He cracks me up!

Can't wait til Halloween next week. Should be fun!

Family Pictures

I once learned that taking pictures when it is overcast is the best time because then you don't have to worry about the sun and shadows. So I looked at the weather and watched it for three days. We choose to go on the day it was supposed to be overcast. Of course the sun was shining and it was as bright as ever. To top it off, the next day was VERY overcast. But I was over the whole picture taking thing by then and was happy with what my sister had taken on our bright sunny day. RB and I sat down tonight and decided which ones we were going to put up on our wall. So I will tell you which ones we decided on, along with some other favorites.

8x10

8x10 I LOVE this one!

5x7 MJ.

crazy big 11x14 (we are going to try a picture this big)
We had problems with this one because of the glare off me and Ms M.
Hopefully it will look better in print.

5x7 The girlies.

When it was time to get a picture of just the boys I died at how many of them were just so cute! I wanted them all but RB made me pick one.

5x7

5x7

5x7 I was okay without this one. I really dislike how big I still look. Ugh. However, it was very motivational to get back on my workout routine!

5x7 The kiddos.

5x7 Lil.

5x7 Buddy Boy.

Hope you enjoyed!

Fall Break

For Fall Break we decided to get away and head to visit my family. My sister came home for it too. It was a nice relaxing week! We played games, played partial games, took some family pictures (those will be posted soon), and ate a ton of YUMMY food!

Here is Ms M asleep on the floor where 5 sec. earlier she was cooing with RB. She falls asleep and wakes up fast.

For my sisters b-day I printed her blog for her in a book. I made her wait to open it until I was there to see her reaction to it. Of course she loved it, like I knew she would. We love ours and we knew she would love hers too!

Whenever I go home, if needed, I get a haircut. This haircut came right before family pictures. When I got home from my hair cut I immediately started cutting RB's. Then MJ and Lil wanted one, so I trimmed their hair as well. After I looked at Buddy Boy and said, "Your turn." He surprised me by climbing right up and sitting very still. I just trimmed the edges on his but had to get pics of his first haircut. He did great too!

Ms M found her thumb and was sucking like crazy on it. It was very cute.

We had a great Fall Break!

Oct. Thus Far

So I typed all of this once and it didn't save, so lets see what I can remember.
MJ and Lil had a friend over and they decided to paint pictures on BIG paper. I said to myself, "Self, take a picture it will last longer than trying to keep that paper nice and not ripped by little hands." So I did.

Buddy Boy loves to ride everything including his diaper across the floor. This is his favorite toy to ride around. He went outside with the girls and thought he was big stuff riding around with them on their bikes and scooters.

For FHE we went up the canyon to see all the beautiful colors of nature (I know we were about a week or two late). It was still really pretty and we got to see some wildlife along with the natural beauty.

I had to take a picture of this. Buddy loves to put everything he can find on his feet. He is getting pretty good at socks and of course everyone shoes. This was just too good to pass up.

Buddy still has the magic touch, and hasn't lost it yet. (The last video here shows what I mean.)

The girls have loved the colder weather. They are so excited for heater time that they have slept by the heater all week even though it doesn't come on till early morning.

Don't judge my girls too harshly now. They are just girls, and they had already done 50 when I told them to start again so I could video it. Too funny!

Ms M is smiling now. She loves to be talked to and she tries to mimic your facial expressions. She is such a cutie!

Lastly, Buddy loves to follow daddy around. He will play with his tools, stand at the counter while he shaves, and even help with the household chores. Buddy is the only one who doesn't complain too. Well, at least until he can't open the dryer.

Fall break is upon us soon and many more adventures will be coming before the month is over yet. Til then my friends!

Go Aggies!

RB and MJ had a GREAT time at the Aggie game. They started their night with going to Panda Express (one of MJ's favorite) for dinner. After some shopping for some white Aggie shirts for the white out game they headed to the stadium. At the game MJ got to play with her cousin which is always a good time and RB got to see the Aggies win. Yea! After the game they did another quick stop at Kohls to spend our $10 which we got in the mail. The night ended with an ice-cream from McDonald's.
 (Thanks Amber for the pictures!)
On the walk back to the car after the game MJ gave RB a big hug and said, "This is the best daddy daughter date ever!" It was great to see them both walk into the house with huge smiles on their faces, even though it was 11pm and they were both exhausted.
