This was actually the weekend after camping in Aug. RB and I took some kids back home to pick up the shed, while Chel took the other kids and stayed at grandma's to watch their cousin play tennis.
One week at church we had quit the fun time. Em made it out the door with two different shoes. MJ had putty on her nose, and then Em's nose. The kids had a hard time sitting quietly, but we survived. The next week I got this cute video of Em singing her rendition of Bingo.
We took the family early Sept. to an Aggie game. It was hot but we had fun. RB tried to get on the big screen during the circle of life song from Lion King by holding up Lil instead of a little baby. It didn't work. Maybe next time. :)
My sister and her hubby came to UT so he could do some scuba diving training. So we got the spend the few nights and the day with her. She came to watch the kids soccer and volleyball games. Then we went shopping, watched him in the crater, walked around the crater, slept in the RV, and then the next morning we went for a walk before going home. We had a great time. Since RB had early morning meetings he was not able to go shopping and everything else after that. He did go to another Aggie game with his family though, so he still had a great time.
September had been full of soccer and volleyball. I love watching my gets practice and get more talented. Here is MJ and Lil serving during games.
Here is our zucchini plant. The only part of our garden that did well.
MJ doing baptisms with the Young Men and Young Women. She loves going!
MJ's best friend came over to celebrate her birthday with us. Her parents had a Self Reliance class they are attending that night. So we gladly took her and her brother to play for the evening.
Lastly, Sept. is Chel's birthday. We had yummy steak, donuts for dessert, and watched her open her gifts. It was a good day!
