MJ's school did their annual Pumpkin Walk again this year. Her class did their favorite animated cartoon on TV. So MJ wanted to paint Perry the Platypus. We worked very hard on Perry.
This is how he looked at home.
This is how we found him at the school. When asked why he was wrapped up in a scarf, MJ replied, "So he wouldn't get cold." Of course, what was I thinking. So I convinced her to unwrap him so people would be able to tell what he was. I'm glad she agreed without a big fight!
Last night my school had their annual PTA Halloween Carnival. We had a blast! Our girls are finally at the age where they enjoy the games and want to participate without being attached to a leg.
RB and I are Thing 1 and Thing 2, MJ is Sharpay in her prom dress, Lil is Rapunzel off Tangled, and Bunny Boy (as MJ called him all night) is of course a bunny.
MJ's favorite activity was the bounce house.
Lil's favorite activity was the face painting. MJ and Lil both got butterflies.
Here we are taking a break. Bunny Boy did so good. He didn't fuss till the very end when his bottle was way over due.
This was the big event of the night. RB and Mr. J were such good sports. They would lean into the pies, and let the kids come super close to be able to get them. It was a blast watching them. MJ LOVED it. They had 5 teachers and the principal participated in groups of two. It was a good activity that the students loved.
Starting out clean.
A little messy.
MJ throwing it at daddy. Lil wouldn't do it. So MJ got to do it twice.
This is where is went down hill. After the principal did this they got covered.
Of course RB couldn't let me go without having some fun too. :)
After we drove by the Brigham City Temple. It looks really pretty at night! We all can't wait for it to be done.
Happy Halloween everyone!

Pumpkin Walk
We watched our nephew during Fall Break. Since we stayed in town we tried to do fun things even though RB was sick with a cold that completely took him out. We went to McDonald's, we decorated pumpkins, and went to the pumpkin walk. It was a lot of fun. People are very creative.
First, here are the pictures of their painted pumpkins.
Now on to the pumpkin walk. We took a ton of pics. So here are our favorites.
I don't know who the kid in the middle is. hehe.
RB with the wild things.
RB is always saying I'm Harry Potter because of my old glasses. So now I truly am.
Have a great safe Halloween everyone!

Too Funny
What a crazy busy month it has been, and it is not even over yet. Buddy Boy decided not to go back to bed after 4:30am feeding. So I am up doing some catch up blogging until I need to get ready for school.
Sunday was our primary program. It went really well. We had a sunbeam turn off the microphone twice, the cute little stink. Besides that all went well. We did have a lot of kids gone because of sickness. That was sad. However, the kids did great on their parts. I love hearing them testify of things they know to be true. We had them write their own parts again this year based on the topics we gave them. It was wonderful. The only major mishaps occurred to me. I had a cute CTR 4 on my lap when I had to get up and down to help the kids with the sacrament. Moving here and there helped my slip fall down to my thigh. Luckily it didn't fall off but it was thinking about it. Then I'm sitting there and I look down to see my black shoe. I think to myself, "I didn't want to wear my black shoes today, I grabbed my brown ones." Sure enough this is what I put on this morning. I do blame it on RB though, just kidding. He has been sick and didn't go to church, so I got dressed in the dark. I'm surprised I grabbed one shoe for each foot instead of two rights or lefts. Oh well, I know I'm not the first to ever have done that and it did make for a good laugh.
Lil loves to take things and put them around the house. She took the Vicks Vapor Rub off the counter, wrapped it in a baby wash rag and then put it on her closet shelf. When asked where it was two days later, she went right to it and got it for me. Last week I was making homemade tortilla shells when I turned around and my balls of dough were missing. Sure enough Lil had taken them. They were her pumpkins hat. So I took a pic. so I could have them back. Silly girl!
Someone on Facebook posted this sign from Wyoming's Highway Patrol. I LOVE IT! I just want to know where it was when I was growing up playing all those years.
Next up is the pumpkin walk and fun with a cousin. Hope you can all have a good laugh sometime today!

Some of our favorite things
This week has been crazy, like most weeks since school has started. It seems like we have something planned almost every day of the week. This week MJ had her schools fundraiser. They got pledges for how many laps they were going to run around at the high school. It was a great idea. I was disappointed that we were told not to run with our kid since there were so many kids there. I was looking forward to doing it as a family. Instead RB stood in line for our dinner, which was very yummy. However, MJ was done with her four laps and RB had moved about 5 feet in line. So I went and stood with him to help with the plates. Right as we got up there they opened up the back door and made two lines. I'm glad the food was good because the wait for it was kind of ridiculous. All in all it was a good fundraiser and as a parent/teacher I would be okay if they did it again.
The next day I had a meeting. So RB came and brought the kids home. I guess MJ got mad at something and stormed up to her room and Lil just got bored and followed. When I got home this is what greeted me.
Wow! All three kids asleep at the same time during the day! Too bad we couldn't just let them sleep. We soon had to wake them so they would sleep that night.
This is MJ's and Lil's new favorite way of riding Lil's bike. They take turned peddling and riding.
Buddy Boy loves his sisters. He is entertained by their every move. Especially when they play just with him.
Buddy boy loves to smile. His 6th month old body loves to roll EVERYWHERE and is almost crawling. He will rock back and forth on all fours but not go anywhere. He also has two bottom teeth and more are coming in. He drools all the time and chomps on anything he can get into his mouth.
For FHE one night we went into Logan and saw the temple. It was beautiful! MJ took a million pictures of the flowers and even the temple picture posted below. She is a good photographer that is for sure. We had a great time walking around talking about why we have temples and what we do inside. We showed them the doors to do baptisms, and the door you come out of when you are married. The girls loved every minute it, including the roll down the hill at the end.
I love these two. They are so cute together.
Here are two of Little Rats favorite things to do.
1) Kick his swing.
2) Rock in his car seat. (I know I already posted one of these, but this one is far better.)
We are glad it is the weekend and general conference as well. PJ's all weekend, yea! Have a good one!
