Color Run

Our school did their annual color run again this year. It was the first year it was bad weather. However, we still had a great turn out and after the run we had all the activities inside. RB took the oldest three kids running the mile, while Chel, Ms M, and I walked it. Well, Ms M probably ran two miles. She got was super excited to run and get colored thrown on her. So she would run again, stop and wait for us, or come running back to us. Then take off again. Ms M had a great time! RB said Buddy Boy did better than the two older girls but they all had fun too.

The lines were pretty long so the kids only got to do two activities. But they loved both of them. They all got their faces painted as cats and then they got balloons. The older two got turtles, and the younger two got swords. We had balloon fun for many days.

Our school does an program called "The Great Artist." They learn about different artists and then try to duplicate one of their art pieces. Then they pick one piece to display during the fun run. The students do a fantastic job and their art work is phenomenal!

On the way home the mountains were awesome to look at. The fog was creeping over the mountain. I know the picture doesn't do justice but you get the idea.

We had a great time and baby Em was a hit with everyone wanting to see her. Hoping this continues next year with our new principal.

Family Pictures

We updated some pictures on our wall. To do this we obviously had to take some current pictures. We are pleased with how they turned out since they were last moment and not professionally done.

Ms M is very expressive. She has to be since the only word she will say is "No." We have pacifiers for Em. She has found that she can put one on each finger. If you ever need a pacifier just ask Ms M because she always knows where one is! The other night I asked her where her dessert went. She opened her mouth and pointed inside of it. It was so cute to see her eyes open wide with her mouth open.

Lil wrote a letter to the pet store asking them which pet she should buy once she could get one. Mom and dad wont let her get one now, but when she gets older what should she get. We are patiently waiting for a reply in the mail. Hopefully this next week it will come.

Buddy Boy is big into swords right now. He loves to put them down the back of his shirt so he can pull it out when needed. It is really cute. Especially the other day when he had three swords.

Kids can be so cute sometimes and very creative. Love them to pieces!

Baby Pictures

I took these pictures off the post I did when Ms M was born. I put them again just with Em's too.

MJ 2005

Lil 2007

Buddy Boy 2011

Ms. M 2012

Em 2015

I think one reason why I keep calling Em, Ms M is because they look similar in their baby faces. Now that Ms M is grown she is definitely more like MJ in her looks and body shape. She is solid just like MJ. It will be interesting to see who Em will be more like.

Mothers Day

I feel so blessed and loved this mothers day. I slept in, and woke up to breakfast that RB had made with the kids. He taught them how to make french toast. Then I went to sacrament for a little to get sustained in my new calling and then come home. At home I had time to do what I wanted too while the others were at church. Then we had a fabulous dinner of brisket, ribs, and dutch oven potatoes. We had key lime pie for dessert too. We played zilch or farkle (whatever it is called) with MJ and Lil. Then I got some gifts from the girls. Lil made a pinata at school for me and I got to crack it open. The kids devoured the candy that was inside of it and I was fine with that.

RB got me this bench that I love. You can lift the lid and we are putting toys inside of it for the kids. LOVE IT! He also got me a new fitbit watch. My other was a cheaper version and since the band broke I keep losing it. In fact, I'm not sure where it is right now. This one is much nicer and I'm excited to have a band again.

I am so blessed and feel extremely blessed to have my mom with me right now. She has been a huge help with the new baby! Not just helping out at night but with the household chores. She is the best and I'm proud she is my mom. One day I hope to be as great as she is. Until then, I am grateful to be the mom of these five great and wonderful kids. They mean the world to me and I love them very much! Thanks for making me feel so special this day!

Gymnastics Day

MJ and Lil had their gymnastics day to show off what they have learned all year. They both did a great job and I was impressed at how each of them are doing. I'm still not sure gym is the right sport for Lil. She does it but I'm not sure she loves it. We'll have to see what she does next year.

MJ was on Pre-Team this year. She is still very timid with her actions. She is very methodical and careful with everything she does. She was by far the most thoughtful in her routines compared to the other girls on the pre-team. However, she has improved so much! I hope she continues with gym. She has the right build for it and seems to enjoy it a lot.

Good job girls! Keep working hard!

Emme M Pedersen

Emme M Pedersen has arrived! She was born on May 3, 2015 at 8:23 am. She was 7lbs 4 oz, and 18 in. long. Her middle name stands for Marjorie which is my moms mom. Delivery was fine and both of us are doing great. The hardest part is not calling her Ms M.  We were going to name her Sarah or Emma. Sarah never grew on us, and Emma has been the most popular name for about 3 years. So when we heard Emme we knew it was right. Different enough to be unique and we love it.

The kids were so excited to come see her after church. Poor MJ had a slight fever and so she didn't get to hold her until Tues. when she felt better and went back to school.

Coming home outfit.

They all love holding her. They constantly ask if they can.

Already getting some cute pics and funny faces. Love them.

Grandma Pedersen came by for a visit.

Grandpa Boyer's turn to hold her.

Buddy Boy tries extra hard to be helpful. He always has the pacifier ready. This picture he is entertaining her with funny faces. In the video he is singing her a lullaby to get her to stop crying.

Her blanket was one that came from a nurse in my Dr. office. Her sister did the blanket and she did the embroidery. It was cool when I found that out.

Now there are five.
Five beautiful children that get to call me mom. Love them all!
