St. George/Vegas 2016 Vacation

I love vacations! Love them! Our kids did so good on this trip. We had more fights on the way home then we did during the entire trip. They slept for five hours of the trip down too where in the way back we were stopping every 30 min. so Buddy could go to the bathroom. Our kids are such troopers too. We ended up doubling our one hike and the kids hardly complained. Ms M had to be carried for just a little at the end but besides that they walked the whole way. RB LOVES hikes so Bryce Canyon was his favorite. More so than Zions even. We are planning our next trip to go back to Bryce to explore more cool trails!

So yes, that is where are trip began. An early morning to Bryce Canyon for a hike. Then on the the hotel in St. George for some swimming.

This little bug would not leave her hat on. Through much screaming, and finally us tying the hat to the pack she finally let in and left it alone. Little punk!

The playground was right outside our back door. We could sit at the table and watch the kids play. We enjoyed card games with the girls too while the littles played. Plus, MJ and Lil made a new friend while there. She played with us at the pool too.

We also did Zions one morning and then came back to swim.

Our last day there we did Snow Canyon. This state park was really awesome! It had some really cool trails and they were short. We did three of them and all three were completely different. First, the sand dunes. Then, the slot canyon. Lastly, the petrified sand dunes. All were spectacular in their own way. We were also lucky to have our coworker join up for a few days. She did these hikes with us, and then headed to Vegas for a few days to swim. The kids loved having her!

Just beware when watching this video it may make you dizzy or sick. Just warning you!

Yes RB posed me so I would have a tail. Nice.

Our first flat tire of the trip.

After Snow Canyon we traveled to Vegas for some much needed lazy rivering.

Sadly, our second flat tire of the trip belonged to our coworker. Luckily we found a shop open on Sundays so we could get it fixed.

And of course we ate at Bobby Flays Burger joint. So good!

We had a great vacation and we're so glad our coworker could come for some of it with us!

First of June

My kids are growing up too fast!

A little GoPro demo before vacation.

Lastly, Buddy Boy learned a new trick. He is so proud he can ride without his training wheels. He does really well! Good job Buddy!
