Playing Tag

Tonight while we were getting ready for bed MJ, Lil, and I were playing tag. We were in my room when RB comes in and tackles me on the bed interrupting our game. MJ goes, "Hey dad, whats the meaning of this?" We laughed for a good minute with this one.

Later in the girls room we were continuing our game of tag Lil goes, "eegumming, eegumming!" She was telling us all that daddy was coming by saying, "he's coming." Her speech improves every day!

Gotta love family. I know I do!!

5k Run to Stay Drug Free

Yesterday morning I ran a 5k with a co-worker and some of her family. It was a lot of fun even though it has been at least 3 months since I have ran 3 miles. I did meet my goal though of 10 minute miles, so I am very happy about that. I hit my second wind at the end and actually felt pretty good finishing. It was very cold though and after we waited for prize drawings. That was FREEZING after sweating. RB was so good to take the girls and keep them warm in the car while I did my thing. I did win a $25 gift certificate to Cafe Sabor and RB loves that place so it was worth it for him too. It was great and I am thinking about doing the First Dam Run in Logan at the first of November now. We'll see.

GR for Conference

For conference since our Moab trip fell through we decided to go see my family. On Saturday everyone but my one sister showed up. We listened the conference, played games, ate good food, and had a great time.

I'm not sure why my sister is mad in this picture.

While the boys went to the Priesthood session my brother and I put up my parents new blinds. Now you have to understand these blinds have been on the floor in front of the window for about a year now. In less than an hour we were done. Too bad we didn't get a picture of the final product.




My dad bought this really cool buggy thing. We all took turns taking rides. Too bad it was so cold in windy WY. MJ was scared at first but she liked it after awhile.


RB said I had to post this picture of me.


Lil loved the whole thing. She thought it was great.



The dolls head was scrapping on the ground and so MJ had to move it so it's head wouldn't get hurt. MJ loved giving the doll a ride. I'm just glad it wasn't me on that train.


Conference weekend was great!

MJ's new thing is taking really up close and personal pictures. We turned it into a game. Can you guess which ones we all are?

Toys

For Christmas presents this year ought to be pretty easy if they love playing with chairs.

The best part about this picture is you can see Lil looking over her shoulder at MJ. She knows MJ wants to climb over and she stood in the way just because.


MJ brought this doll in from outside the other day and declared, "Mom the baby accidentally ate the grass." (Right, wink, wink)

Dinner Tonight

After dinner was eaten MJ decided she wanted some gum. Of course Lil decided she wanted some too. We told Lil that after she ate her dinner she could have some. I told her I would help her eat and walked over to the table with her. She pointed at an empty plate and goes, "Mine!" I go, "that is not your plate. That was daddies plate." She looked up at me and grinned. She is too smart for her own good!
