October Fall Break

 For fall break we decided to leave town. We debated long and hard about leaving the state during a pandemic but we all had a great time. It was not our best trip, and our hikes fell short of expectations, but we still have fun getting away and being together. We actually felt safer in Vegas than we do at home. People everywhere wear masks! The Bellagio Hotel had a portable water/sanitizing station where you could get clean masks and wash your hands with soap and water and then sanitize. Every store had sanitizer dispensers at you walked into it. We don't see that at home. Like anywhere practically. So we went hiking, shopping, swimming, and we walked some of the strip. We shared with our kids two of our favorite places; Gordon Ramsey's Burger and Carlo's Bakery. The kids loved it! It was a good get-away even if it wasn't our best vacay ever. Can't wait for the next one...whenever it will be.

  The fall can be so beautiful. Side-by-side drives are the best looking at all the beautiful leaves. 

Ms M and I have had some good times together with her soccer games. Since only one parent can go, and they are are early in the morning, I take her. She plays goalie first half and then forward the second half. She even scored a goal and it was the only goal scored the entire game.

There always seems to be lots of dress up days in Oct. with Red Ribbon Week. 

Teaching can be hard! 

Halloween! This year with COVID we decided to keep Halloween small and simple. We went to about 3 houses and that is all. Then we went on a side-by-side ride and watched a really old movie "Frankenstein" at a friends home. It was a good night!
