For the first time in a long time I was home alone for the day. MJ and Lil are still at Grandma's and RB had to word. It was weird. I thought I would get REALLY bored, but surprisingly I didn't. I slept in till 8, ate breakfast and did computer stuff till 9, mowed the lawn and pulled weeds till 10, showered, started laundry, made strawberry jam, put laundry away, watched "Wizards of Waverly Place" while reading my book awhile, shredded some papers, and then RB was home. The day flew by and it was kind of nice having it quiet. Not sure I want to do it again...but it was nice while it lasted.
We have a deal with RB's mom where she grows and picks the green beans, we can them, and then we split the bottles. When RB got home we went into Logan to get 4 bags of beans. While we were there we got a pickle recipe and a relish recipe. I also got a zucchini at school the other day. So today is going to be VERY BUSY. Green beans first, then pickles, then relish and lastly zucchini bread. Yum! We'll I'd better get started. Have a great day everyone!!

Phone Call from MJ
MJ and Lil are at Grandma's for awhile. MJ just called to talk. Here is how the conversation went.
MJ: Guess what mom?
Me: What?
MJ: I just put stickers on a napkin. Did you know that stickers can go on napkins?
Me: What stickers are they?
MJ: Let me go ask grandma...Grandma where did we get these stickers?
Grandma: They came in the mail.
MJ: They came in the mail.
Me: What do they have on them?
MJ: Smiley faces, and sunglasses, and smiley faces. We are having tacos for dinner again. Where is daddy?
Me: Do you want to talk to daddy now.
MJ: Yea.
She then proceeded to say the same thing to daddy but daddy called her a taco.
MJ: I'm not a taco, I said we are having taco's for dinner. Do you want to talk to Lil now.
Daddy: Sure.
Lil: adhd dlkfhioe alkdnf dklfnl rock dhle felfejnf dlkfefn fieonsd nefhl? felfnfla oeinflsdk. oeifn lfioe oief. (she's a jabber box!)
Sorry that's all I got!

FHE in Logan
Since we had to go to Logan on Monday we decided to make the best of it. We went to the temple, talked, and played in the lawn. MJ and Lil loved rolling down the hill.
Lil did not quite get it and what can I say RB and I had fun rolling down it too.
The flowers were gorgeous!
MJ brought her camera to take pics. too.
As I took this pic of MJ on her back, here are the two pics. she took off her camera.
This is below is the one I took.
Here is another one from MJ of the flowers.
We had a good time enjoying the beautiful weather and being together.

GR and Lagoon
After camping we were home for one day and left again for GR. It was fun to be home and spending time with my family.
Here we are walking to the park. Sights like this are very common in GR. I'm just glad they don't ever charge.
While at the park Lil helped MJ climb up to the bridge. However, the roles were never switched. I think I'm grateful for that. Lil really isn't helping MJ climb up. She just thinks she is. However, MJ cannot lift Lil high enough to help her get up and I fear Lil just would have ended up hurt. This was my thought processes anyways.
Lil loves grandpa. She will go in the basement with my dad works on his model railroad trains. She'll be down there for hours while my dad does his thing.
Today we left GR and headed to Lagoon. We took more pics. but I'm tired and am not going to post any more.
Both MJ and Lil loved the rides in the morning. After lunch both refused to ride any rides, until it was time to leave. Then they snuck in two rides before we called it quits. Boy was it HOT today!
Glad to be home and not going anywhere, anytime soon!

Bear Lake Camping
At the first of Aug. we went camping with RB's family at Bear Lake. We had a blast. Right by our camping spot we had a cove of water that went up to my calf for quite a ways out. This lead to some fun times in the water. (Pics. are in no particular order.)
Here is MJ. She decided sunscreen was not enough. She had to cover herself like the pigs do in dirt for extra protection. It worked!
This is how I found Lil our first night sleeping. So dang cute!
RB playing super-hero.
MJ and Lil were brave on the first day we got there. After that they just wanted to play in the dirt and stayed out of the water.
After dinner on the second night MJ passed out by the fire on grandma's lap. She's too cute!
Lil with her backpack and bucket. As happy as could be.
Yes, she is shoving sea shells in her pockets. They were packed full of them! Trust me!!
Boat rides for the kids were a favorite.
Overall we had fun, got really skinky, and brought the stink home with us. It took a full day for camp smells to leave our home. Got to love it!
