Park, Wrestling, Walmart

Every once in awhile we get mail for somebody who loves on the other side of the park. They have the same number on their house as us, just live on a different street. The other day we received a package for them. So the girls and I took a walk to deliver it to them (they have done the same thing with our mail). We took the long way around the block walking on the street on the way there. On the way back we decided to take a short cut through the park. We had a blast! The snow came up mid-calf on me. So poor MJ was really having to high step it. We stopped halfway and took a break to swing. Then came the rest of the way. We laughed the whole time as MJ followed in my footprints. Going around would have been easier but not nearly as fun!



MJ and Lil like to wrestle with each other. Depending on how giving MJ feels depends on who wins. Here are some pics. and a video.






We went to Walmart yesterday so RB could pick some things up for his classroom. While walking around RB and MJ got separated from Lil and I. Lil goes, "Mom, where daddy?" I said I didn't know but he would catch up soon. Lil then starts calling, "Mike, Mike, MIKE! Oh there Mike is." It was so cute.

Magic Water FHE

First, MJ wanted a picture of her cool tower that she built all by herself. Here she is with it:



Next, we had a fun FHE this week. I got the idea in Primary during singing time. The sister doing music did this activity and depending on what color the magic water turned depended on what type of song they sang, like about the temple, or love, etc.

So here is what you do. First, prepare your spoons with some food coloring, and baking soda covering the coloring so you don't know which spoon is which color. Also, prepare your bottles (BIG ones) with half vinegar half water.



Next, decide what color is going to be what. The picture is the gospel art kit and we just talked about one of the pictures.


Put a spoon in the bottle and stir to see the magic water and the color.


RB found out the faster you stir the more bubbles and explosion you get. The girls loved it when it bubbled over. Hence, the pan under the bottles.

Team work is always good. Lil was a little scared to stir and let MJ stir hers up.

MJ can't wait till we do this FHE again. It was fun and easy!

Spotted with Red

Poor Lil has been under the weather for 2-3 weeks now. RB and I have missed a lot of school in Jan. and now Feb to be home with her. It started out as a cold. Cold never go away so she had that for a long time. Then it went to the throw up along with MJ. I was happy they got it at the same time so they got over it together too. Well Lil didn't quit recover. I took her to insticare last Sat. and found she had an ear infection. So all week I fought with her morning and night to take the medicine she absolutely hates. All week she has been throwing up and having diarrhea too. I called her doctor to see if it was a reaction to the medicine. They said probably not because of the throwing up they thought it was just a flu bug. Well today she woke up with all these cute little red dots all over her body. RB took her back to insticare this morning and sure enough she had a reaction to the medicine. Luckily her ear looks fine and since she's been on it long enough they said just take her off the medicine and in a few days the rash should go away. Hopefully the whole family will be over the sickness and blah that has been going around and getting back to normal. If that is even possible.
