July Birthdays

July birthdays came and went in a whirlwind of celebrations, and activities!
First, mine.

I look hideous as a boy. I kind of look like my brother Ne.

RB bought me some garden things. I'm excited to build my front flower garden. Thanks to the Em who really, really wanted real flowers! It's small and perfect.

Our good friends bought the girls ear peircings for their birthdays. We got them all done on the same day and then went out to eat. They were all scared but they all did great!

MJ and Lil also got some music albums of Newsies and High School Musical.

For the first time in ever, Lil did not get a big firework show on her birthday. We stayed at home and celebrated on our own. The neighborhood threw the best show ever though. We had fireworks going off all over the place! It was incredible to watch! She is finally a teen even though I've thought of her as a teen for almost a year now. Happy 13th Lil, we love your spunky personality!

The neighbors gave our kids some sparklers. It was very nice of them to share with us!

Birthday party at the lake with friends.

Mayo is 15! Driving age! She is so good to help whenever needed and I hope she feels loved. For the first time in a long time we were actually home for her birthday too. Usually we are on vacay but not this year.

Another day at the lake with Mayo's friends.

Swimming at the friends home.

Next is Ms M's birthday. The big 8 this year. She is a unicorn fanatic and very outgoing and talkative!

Now for a few random pics that made it in this post that I'm too lazy to move to another post.
Having fun while working! Paint never belongs on just what you are painting.

Em had to go to a RARE time-out one day. She usually can pull it together but not this day. When I went to talk with her, this is how I found her. Reading a book and rocking herself with her foot. She was so sassy when I went in. But after our talk she settled and was able to come out. However, I love this picture of her stewing and chilling in her time-out.

Wyoming Trip

My parents decided it was time to get rid of their HUGE silver maple tree out of their front yard. It was too sappy and the roots were overtaking the yard. So us kids went down to help chainsaw, move logs, and move branches. It took a whole day to get it cut down. Then the next morning we went and dumped all the branches. I even used a chainsaw for the first time.

Em watching her virtual graduation from Preschool.

Daran braiding hair. Em has this guy tied around her little finger. :)

Beyblades fun. Let it ripe!

After my parents home, we followed my sister to her home and spend another 4-5 days with her. We had a blast and did so much!

Boating and playing at the water.

Art and crafts

Trying on Darans uniform.

Finding a bunny, feeding it, and then burying it when it didn't live.

Getting pockets in our jacket. Thanks Aunt May!

Repelling. The kids had a blast! All of them went down at least once. After some freak out times Ms M really enjoyed it. Mayo even went more than once! Good for her!

Hiking around Vedauwoo after repelling. RB LOVED IT! This is his kind of hiking where you climb the rocks and blaze your own trail.

Playing with toys. Aunt May has so many cool toys!
"I love that thing"-Ms M

Hidden Falls Trail hike. We took a detour on the way back and added a mile or two, but what's new. We do that often on hikes. :)

Happy Fathers Day RB! We love you so much!

What might Buddy Boy be doing in a field sitting in a mini car?

Oh, just flying a kite.

Cousin fun.

Down time with Uncle Daran.

May and I love playing Over Cooked on the switch. We made sure we found time to play. :)
