Christmas

Christmas was great once again this year. We are truly spoiled. My parents were able to spend Christmas day with us before heading back to WY the day after with Chel. That gave her a few days with her boyfriend before leaving town too. Christmas Eve we went and watched the city lights, read the Christmas account out of the Children's Reader, ate Chinese food, and watched a Christmas movie. The family was so good to let me get a picture of their new pj's and books before reading them. The Em-A-Nator opened hers early Christmas morning since she was asleep the night before. Then Christmas dinner was at our home this year and that was nice. Not having to go anywhere and my parents could eat a nice dinner too. It was fun to see everyone and visit with family.

All awake and ready to open some presents.

Hope you all had a great Christmas too!

Sledding

We are very happy that this year we have snow to go sledding on. Last year the snow all melted within a day of falling. Not this year. It was a blast. MJ and Lil brought two friends with them and we had a ton of fun. Our new sleds are perfect and go super fast. Ms M and Buddy loved going down too. Toward the end we did trains. That was my favorite part, all linking together to go down. All smiles for us!

Hoping to go sledding again before the New Year!

Lots of Random December Things

Lets back track for a minute back into Nov. At least, I'm pretty sure some of these Aggie games were then. MJ loves her daddy daughter dates to be to the games. I'm glad she likes to go because Lil does not. The one game they had rain and lightening so they had to evacuate everyone from the stadium. Glad they still had fun!

I need to work on RB's smile when he is taking a selfie. :)

No idea where this photo of the Em-A-Nator came from.

Monkey see, Monkey do.

RB is pretty clever at where he puts Em's pacifier. She looked pretty funny when she got it turned around.

Young Men's activity.

One of Buddy's creations.

Watching Grandpa P's trains.

A possible next years Halloween costume.

My parents took us out to eat and do a little Christmas shopping. The Em-A-Nator got to tag along with us. At dinner I gave her some applesauce and then a pickle. She loved the pickle. I wanted to see a sour face and got nothing! Oh well.

This is from Fall Break when we went on our get-away. RB snapped it before they rode the coaster. Glad they enjoyed it!

RB is such a great teacher. He was asked by our principal to be the Sugar Plum Fairy for the Nutcracker when they came and did a play for our school. He agreed. The students LOVED it! A week later the high school Madrigals came and did a Nutcracker song where they needed someone to dance while they played. A co-worker began the chant Mr. P, Mr. P. It soon took off and everyone was chanting. He was once again such a good sport to do it! I would show the video but it was too big of a file for here. Sorry. But good for him for doing it!

MJ had her fifth grade performance. She had a speaking part that she volunteered to give. That was huge! She did a great job and I'm glad she had the courage to do it.

Her and a good friend!

I'm glad we had some good snow storms too. That really makes it feel like Christmas. We went out and played in it one night. The neighbor boy was out all by himself and saw our snowball fight. So he joined in. It was pretty entertaining.

Well we still have sledding and Christmas coming up so don't go too far!

Lights & The Ward Dinner

We love seeing the city light show. It is a family favorite activity. This year they had some new songs too.

Smile!

The ward dinner was great. The food was delicious! The kids sang a song and Ms M HAD to go up. MJ was good to hold her up. The kids liked Santa's workshop too. After the kids sang we watched a movie about Wise Men Still Seek Him. It was a great night!
