Buddy Boy Turns 6!

We celebrated Buddy Boy's birthday outside. Thankfully we had good weather. The flooring guys were just finishing up and didn't leave until 8ish. There boss said they were not coming back all the way up here so they had better finish. So outside we went. It was still good. We opened presents, had cake, and then while the kids played I went and got b-day dinner of McDonalds. He was happy some friends got to come over and play. At school he is always doing what the teacher says. He gets to be class helper a lot and at recess all the kids want to play with him. I love the expression on his face with this new white church shirt. Haha. Not excited at all. He loves his new bike too. He is a great kid. He never really has thrown tantrums. He gets upset and cries but tries hard to stop himself and is really good to rationalize the good in things. He is a great kid and we love him! 

One gift came late and I thought this was it so I let him open it. Oops. They were mine. The rockets that came a week later were his. He loves them. 

Random Happenings March & April

The weather is getting warm again and the kids were itching to go to the park. While there Ms M was playing in the sand. She told me that in the middle was her castle and then she dug around it to create a moat. She needed the moat so bad guys couldn't get to her castle. I have no idea where she learned the word moat but she used it correctly and everything. 

The Em-A-Nator loves the swing and the slides. 

Some days just feel like this. You need a little bacon to get you through the day. :) 

 I stole this picture off Facebook. It is my mother-in-law with her brothers and sister. They are at a wedding we were not able to attend.

MJ's Medieval school project. She worked SOO hard and did make queen for the day.  

In Feb. MJ had her Worlds Fair. She did Spain. She did a fabulous job all dressed up with her report and things to show. 

MJ loves volleyball now and had a good time with club.

AWWW!

We were able to go to USU's regional gymnastics meet. We stopped at the temple first so the kids could walk around and touch it. We had a great night!

New Flooring

 I finally have new flooring! I have waited ten years to get rid of the gross carpet in my kitchen. It has been a process that has lasted a few months, but it has been worth it.

This is how we had the shelving for one day. Then we staggered it and like it a lot better. 

While we were at IKEA buying new shelving and things we saw this showroom. It was beautiful. We were already going to paint the cupboards gray and now we know it will look great. So that is our next step. 

It has been a long processes. However, it has been worth it. We need to hang pictures still, and finish the deck too. Then paint the cupboards and we will see what comes after that.
