Christmas this year was great! We really had a great Christmas season, not just day. We saw lights, and even found a new favorite house that plays their lights to music. Way cool! I helped the girls decorate ornaments that we did at school too. They had a lot of fun and they turned out really good.
Christmas Eve we let the kids open their pj's and I got pj's this year too. So did RB but he didn't wrap his and has been wearing them for about 2 weeks now. After reading about Jesus' birth we watched a few Christmas specials on TV and the kids headed to bed.
Christmas was a lot of fun. The girls got a lot of what they wanted including makeup, LalaLoopsy doll things, pj's (they LOVE new pj's), clothes, and some little toys. Buddy Boy was not very interested in any of his gifts but in everyone else's. He loved MJ's jump rope, and the girl's candy canes. He loves to pick things up and bang it onto whatever he can.
After church, which was different groups singing songs and it was great, we headed into town with RB's family. We had a great meal, and a great time talking and being with family.
It was a great day! Hope all of your Christmas' were just as good!

Where's Our Tire
We came home one day after church to find this:
Yes, someone had taken our tire right off our car. They didn't steal the most expensive thing inside the car, the stereo, just the tire. We did get a free jack out of it though. I'm just glad we noticed the tire gone before we tried driving it. We figure someone got a flat and didn't have the money to replace it so they took ours. Hope they really needed it.

Christmas Lights Tradition
Every year we make a trip down south to see the lights at Temple Square. We start by doing some shopping at the mall, and then take the train (MJ's and Lil's favorite part) to the Temple. We read books in Deseret Books and then walk across the street to see the lights. The girls love walking through the visitor centers and they are a good break to get out of the cold for awhile too. The replica of the temple in the one visitors center and the statue of Christ in the other are also favorites. The day was perfect! The breezy was a little too cold, but it was not freezing, and we had a great time!
I love the Christmas season and all the fun traditions we have as a family! Hope your Christmas season is going as well as mine!

Thanksgiving 2011
We traveled the road to WY this year for Thanksgiving to visit my family. It was a good long visit! We saw a movie, took the kids swimming, ate way to much food, played many games, and of course talked. It was so good to see all of my siblings. I wasn't able to see all the husbands or nieces, and nephews but it was still a great visit.
My cute sister with the girls.
MJ with her cousin. They played so well together. Too bad they forgot about Lil at times.
Waiting for dinner to be ready. Not yet!
Trying to get dinner ready.
The boys had plenty of toys to get themselves entertained!
Every time us sisters get together we get a pic. Here is the most recent.
Hope all of your Thanksgivings were as fun and fattening as mine!
