I'll begin by apologizing for no pics. I'm on the laptop right now because we have some men over right now fixing our water heater. They've been in and out of the house the whole time and so I'm at the table out of the way. Luckily our heater only went out yesterday afternoon. I don't smell too bad yet. :)
Masters classes have been going. Not great but not horribly either. Slowly we are getting used to what our assignments are and what needs to be done every week. Our goal is to finish by Sat. night. That way we can have all least Sun. off with no school. On-line classes can be frustrating trying to figure out what teachers want and not getting e-mail responses that actually answer your questions. But we are managing and I'm so glad we are doing this together. Now at least we are miserable together!
Teaching school is going well. We are both really excited for spring break. We had our first BBQ yesterday and yes it snowed. Okay, it was more like a blizzard. But we have all of RB's bro's and sis's. It was a lot of fun.
MJ is MJ. She plays well on her own and is a big helper. She loves watching movies and having friends over to play. Lil is a squillber. She yells, she screams, she throws fits. She is finally starting to talk though. She says mama, dadda (even though she calls RB mama too), baby, ball, hello, and hot. Everyday is something new with Lil being a little miss independent.
Overall, we are loving life and things are going well. Hope you have a great day!

Reno, NV
So I am finally getting around to posting pics. of our trip. I know many of you have probably seen the tree art and the white sand. However, I found it very cool and so I had to take a pic. of them. RB thought I was crazy. It was fun on the way their and back to try to read what people had spelled out with rocks. It was fun that is until it gave me a headache.
Sand Art
Tree Art
Just a really cool view.
This city is seriously a mini-me of Las Vegas. The drive into the city is the same, the strip feels the same, big buildings, and great buffets. However, Reno is much better to drive in. Less people. Also, we feel safer in Vegas. In Vegas they usually try to keep gangsters and things moving along and in Reno their was a lot of loitering.
We drove into Reno Wed. night about 12:30 am. We slept in and enjoyed a lazy morning. Our first game was Thurs. afternoon against Fresno and we won.
Friday had to be our best day their. It started with us going to the Reno temple. That was so incredible. It was a very special event for RB and I. We loved every minute of it. The temple is gorgeous inside out! Let me explain our picture. When we were married in Logan RB and I had a pic. of us standing staring up at the temple. Ever since then we try to get a pic. like that at every temple we go to. It's a fun little tradition of ours.
After the temple we went to the Aggies second game against New Mexico. This game was intense and totally awesome. Now, you have to understand that the Aggie student section is, well, annoying. They put together some chants that are quite funny and some not the best. Needless to say other teams hate our cheers. So even though we were playing against NM the Nevada fans were showing up for their game after ours and cheering against us. This made for quite an interesting fan base. We were unlucky enough to be sitting next to some angry drunks. They kept making fun our Wilkinson and his success story. It was lame listening to them try to be big and macho while swearing up a storm.
So at half time we are down by 13 points. Not looking so good for us. We get it within 6 points for most of the half. As time is winding down we are inching our way closer. With 3 seconds left in the game one of the Aggies scores to put us up by 1. They didn't make their last shot putting us into the championship game. Our angry drunks were not to happy our our high fives all around from every Aggie fan within reach. It was great.
So Sat. night finally comes. Once again we have Nevada fans sitting in front of us. However, this time they were happy drunks. We had a good time talking to them and they were very nice. I wish the other fans were the same. On one side of us a NV fan dumped his beer on a cop. Not the smartest idea that's for sure. The Aggie student section loved it when he was escorted out though. On the other side of us some fans were egging each other on but stopped after the cops came to monitor them. They did end up taking out a dad (his poor kids followed closely behind) and some other adults. RB said he saw the dad and 2 boys after the game so that was good they were able to come back.
Yes RB is more interested in the time out than a pic. The game was awesome. We were up by an average of 10 the whole game.
Had to get this!
This is Gary Wilkinson. After I took this pic. he came over by RB and I. We both were able to get a high five from him. It was awesome. I touched Gary's hand. If you haven't heard his success story it is great. A quick history is he never graduated from High School. Did go on a mission and then tried out for the Aggie team. Has only played organized ball for 4 years and is one of the best ball players. Too bad he is a senior this year.
Sun. was a long drive home. It was good to pick up our girls in Evanston though. It was so good to see them again and it's been great being home with them again. We have really enjoyed this warm weather and being outside!
Overall, Reno was well worth it. I hope I didn't leave anything important out. GO AGGIES! Play well on Friday!!
Thanks Mom for watching my girls for an entire week so we could go and do this! You are the best!!

Last Sat. my parents came into town. When they went home they took our girls with them. So RB and I have been childless for a week now. It's been nice not having those responsibilities of getting them bathed, in bed, fed, and whatnot. However, I sure miss them. Especially since I get to see them tomorrow night.
So while they have been at grandma's my sister blogged some funny stuff that MJ has said. So I stole it from her blog for you all to read.
MJ was rocking Lill in the rocking chair and Lill was laughing.
MJ: she is happy she is laughing
Aunt Chel: yea and she is never happy
MJ: yes she is she is smiling. Now shes not.
Aunt Chel: yea she just looks bored now
MJ: yea she sometimes is... nu uh that isn't nice! Grandma aunt chel called lill bored! she is not a bored!!
Aunt Chel: way too busy laughing at her indignant face to even answer!!
In the bedroom and MJ has a blanket over her lap. Aunt Chel comes in and lays her head down.
MJ: you can't lay there my stuff is there and it's not a pillow.
Aunt Chel: well it's comfortable.
MJ: i have my purse and the rocking chair and my baby
Aunt Chel: (picking up the little red barbie chair on the bed) nu uh the rocking chair is right here!
MJ: no sir! (Aunt Chel sits up) Look this is the rocking chair!
Aunt Chel: so it is! you've got everything but the kitchen sink under there.
MJ: (looking under the blanket) Nope no kitchen sink!
Now you may be wondering, why did they dump their kids off at Grandma's for a week. Well RB and I are in RENO, NV. We are watching the WAC tournament and the Aggies play in the Championship game tonight. (RB just said I have 5 min. so I'd better hurry.) On the way down here we saw a bunch of nothing. Then a big tree looking thing that ended up being art. Then A LOT of white sand that stretched on forever, and finally some scenery in NV. But by then I was sleeping and RB was driving in the dark. He always gets the bum driving. So anyways, we have had a blast. Basketball, being lazy, eating GOOD, and even the Reno Temple. I'll blog it all when we get back with pictures.
Until then have a great day!!

The Last Week of Feb.
This past week has been crazy. Not as crazy as some people's but it seems this last week of Feb. was kind of weird for everybody. Now that the weather is warming up I hear every day from MJ, "When the snow smelts can we go to the park?" She is getting house crazy. So I have been trying to take them on walks. Little Lil loves the street and loves mud puddles. On one of our walks this week she found three of them. Needless to say when we got home we immediately changed into PJ's for the rest of the evening.
MJ has always been pretty good when it comes to staying out of trouble. She would rather throw the temper tantrum. Well that is slowly changing. This week has been crazy with MJ doing new things. One is showing Lil how to marker over chairs and our blinds. She did make a cool looking face but we were still not very happy with her desicion to marker over everything.
School for me this past week was very emotional. I had 2 major incidents happen and all five students involved happened to be in my class. Wed. I was taking care of these issues so that my other students had to teach each other. They did really good with it though and some really enjoyed being the teacher. I'm also grateful for my co-workers who helped check in on my class to make sure they were okay. To make it worse one of the incidents made the news. Not fun, and a lot of worry and stress on my part. All is better now and things are finally back to normal.
While I was having fun doing all of this RB was busy having Parent Teacher Conferences. He got home late a couple of days because of them and we were both ready for the weekend. It was a great one even though we were busy.
On Sat. we went to the Draper temple. I guess they had a sign up saying not to take pics. in front of the temple but I missed it. Sorry. It was a great time. Lil cried through most of it but we still enjoyed ourselves. It was a long walk with many people. MJ enjoyed looking at the pretty lights.
On Sun. we had dinner at RB's parents home and had a wonderful visit. RB was released from the Young Men's as well. He loved that calling even though he has been in there for almost 4 years. He was called to be over the Val. 10's in Primary. He is excited to be in Primary and it will be nice having him home on Tues. nights. The bad part about this weekend is Lil and MJ are both sick again with coughs and runny noses. That is why I am home today taking care of them. It's been good though because I have been able to clean. I've done the dishes, three loads of laundry, and now that Lil is awake again I can vacuum. Well I'm off to clean some more. Ta ta for now and have a GREAAAAT day!
