July 2022

July is always packed full of fun! With four birthdays, two holidays, and summer how can it not be!

I'm officially the big 4-0. The Logan fireworks were on my b-day this year. So we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with the family before heading to the park with the extended family. We had a good evening and it was a great day!

I hope Lil had a good 15th b-day. I can't believe she can now learn how to drive!

We spend the 4th at home enjoying the show from our hot-tub.

Random pics of events. Enjoying some Bluey together.

We did quite a few family mountain bike trips and some without the whole family. Fruit loop, Mantua, Logan river trail, Paper Airplane, Baggage Claim, Brimm. Good memories! RB and I did the airplane, baggage, and brimm in one ride. I was told it would be 9 miles and it ended up being close to 14 miles. I bawled the last mile as I walked my bike up a steep trail wanting to quit. But I didn't. I make it, and now I can laugh about it.

Our good friends that the kids work for have new kittens. The kids have loved going over and playing with them.

Buddy Boy did a portrait of me at church. Punk!

We don't own a cat. But apparently our neighbors cat thinks this is his chair.

Mayo slept with the littles on the tramp. Good for her!

My Lil!

The girls making a mess after church.

Molly had the opportunity to play in a tournament with another Logan team in Park City. Luckily two other teammates played as well. So they got to hang out together. They did pretty good. They made it to the semi-finals before losing. Not bad for a team that hasn't played together for long.

Young mens and womens activity at Willard Bay.

The 24th fireworks in Logan again. We babysat Troy so he got to come with us.

Yes, Ms M's b-day is the day before the 24th but this is how the pictures laid out. So I don't care. Ms M is 10 years old. The good double digits. She is getting so big. I can't believe she will be in 5th grade next year!

We took our annual trip to Las Vegas! We had such a great time eating, and swimming. It was a shorter trip but we still played hard!

Ms M made a friend in the pool. She told her all about all our July b-days. So she went to the M&M factory to buy her a little treat. Very sweet of her to do that!

We let Parks, Ms M and the Em-a-nator have a summer water party for their b-days. One massive mad house for a few hours and then it was over with. :) They had a good time playing!

Mayo did a summer choir camp. She tried out to be in this group and made it in. But the summer camp was for anybody. So she did the singing, filming, and even soloing for their song. It turned out beautifully!

Mayo and her friends going to the movies.

Mayo's b-day. She turned 17 and had her annual beach day at willard bay. This year she drove her own friends though. Weird.

Date night with the Mayo! We loved it!

At the end of the month I did another triathlon. This year we did the team event. My friends hubby swam, RB biked, and I ran. Now I can say I've done it as a team. I'm not sure I'll do the Burley Tri again for awhile. It was the same day as Ms M's soccer tourney in Park City. With summer tourneys I'll probably wait until my kids are finished with soccer until I do another race.

Well that was July!
