MJs Birthday, Well Sort Of

MJ turned 10 this year. Crazy! Since we were on vacation for her actual b-day she got to open her presents early. She loved that. 

And one of Ms M who is quite fashionable.

Funny Business

Here are some more funny sayings from Buddy:

When we got back from vacation Buddy said, "We are in our world."

Dad: Did you know our world is our town called T.

Buddy: Yea, it's our world. 

Cousin: Did you know your from Alaska?
Buddy: No sir I'm from this world

Me: Buddy you are stylin
Buddy: more stylin than you!

In primary they are learning about the Holy Ghost. One of the counselors told me that one Sunday he said, "I feel the Holy Ghost telling me to clean my room."

Buddy: Ms M said I was funny.

Dad: How could she say you were funny if she doesn't talk.

Buddy: She said it in French

July 4th & 5th

What a very special day today was. It started with Lil getting baptized. I can't believe she is eight, but am very proud she chose to be baptized. We had many family and friends come to support her and it was great to have everyone there! 

Since we had all our family and friends there, and church is not until 1pm we decided to bless Jellybean this day instead of having family have to travel two days in a row or stay so late before traveling home. It was a beautiful blessing and I'm glad we got this picture. Because of the craziness of the day I did even get pics. of just her in the dress. I'll have to do that later.

I wanted to get a family picture quick after, but Buddy was being a Bucko and changed. Then RB changed, remembered, and changed back. He was thinking the top half would show and not the bottom half. I like the casual shorts with the shirt shirt and tie. A friend on Facebook said her husband would be all for that look. :) Luckily RB remembered we could take one before church the next day. 

After everyone left after lunch we set off our day fireworks before setting off the rest that night. 

Then we went swimming and had a blast. My dad loved squirting everybody with the water guns. 

A friend gave us these two shirts. Buddy loves that his says Best Brother Ever.  

After swimming we sang happy late birthday to Lil and ate her cake. It was easier doing it a day late than at the park.

The next day Ms M struggling to get her shirt on. Impressive that she got her two arms in like that!

July 2nd & 3rd

My birthday has come and gone once again. It was a good day that was pretty normal. I exercised, took the kids to school lunch, chilled at home, and then went to get my birthday dinner with raspberry cream pie for dessert. For my birthday I got a new bookshelf that looks really good in our front room, more Fitbit watches, plastic bowls with lids for my kitchen, two long sleeved shirts, running headbands, and a new camera. The camera was perfect for our vacation! It was a great day!

Early on the 3rd, family started to show up. It was great having them for the weekend. We had a great time. We let Lil open her presents before dinner. She loved that everyone was there for it. 

Then we headed for BC to eat at Maddox. My sister loves that place so when she is in town we try to go. After we headed to the church for the fireworks in L. The kids had a great time playing soccer, playing in the sand, popping bubbles, and playing with cousins. Since my family was in town and RB's family always come we had a huge group. It was a lot of fun!

End of June

It has been almost a month since I blogged last so if some of these pictures are repeats I'm sorry. July has been crazy fun! But here is the last few days of June before we get into all that craziness. 

RB went to APT camp with the scouts. He had fun doing the rope-swing. This was supposed to be a video but at least we got a picture. 

MJ and Buddy Boy got to go to Vegas with daddy for the basketball tournament. So RB took Lil on her own daddy daughter date. They went to Lagoon and had a blast. They went to Lagoon-a-Beach, rode some rides, went back to the beach since it was so hot, and then rode some more rides. After Lagoon they went to dinner and then came home. Lil loved every minute of the day. Glad they had fun!

Buddy Boy and Ms M wanted to ride their bikes around the block. It took us 20 min. to make it around because of Ms M's rain boots. They kept falling off and then she decided to walk her scooter. So I carried it while walking my bide. We made it, and she had fun so that is good. Buddy beat us home by about 10 min. So I'm glad he made it safely.  

Jellybean!

My sister took this picture of my parents. It's old though because my mom has glasses still. However, I love it because how happy they are being together. I hope to be this happy when I am a grandparent too! 

My brother-in-law graduated from the academy. He is now a certified jailer (prison guard). Once another job opens up he will probably take it and move out of the jail. But congrats to him and his accomplishments! 

For some reason my two little ones think Jellybean needs to be included in electronic time. I love how she's not even looking at the screen. 

Well that is the end of June. Now onto July.
