Once we got back from vacationing in CA we took a few days to be home, and then we were off again. To grandmothers house we went. While there we went jeeping. We had a good time seeing the beautiful scenery.
Even though Buddy's car seat was buckled in, after we got going he was almost sideways. We had to stop and really tighten the strap which is hard to do with old seat belts. But we got it and he was safe once again.
It wouldn't be a jeeping trip without something breaking. We got up to the top of the "two towers" and this is what we saw. It ended up being a hole in our transmission line that got cut by a fan. Don't ask me who designed an engine with a line going right in front of a fan. Must have been a man, hehe.
I love this picture. One, Ms M is letting her daddy hold her. Amazing, I know. Two, Buddy is not freaking out that Ms M is sitting with him, and she is not freaking out that he is sitting with her. Double amazing, I know.
Buddy is very protective of his cars and planes. He screams every time Ms M comes and tries to play with him. I came in the living room to find him hiding each car under a container in the hopes that sister would not get them. Didn't work, but it was a valiant effort.
Buddy is usually really good. However, he does have his mischievous moments. Including this one with a black sharpie, and a black white board marker.
Bikes and scooters time. It's fun watching Ms M ride a scooter and then Buddy surprised me with how well he did on the big scooter.
Frisbee golf is a family favorite and we were able to go last week. It was cloudy when we left and then it down-poured on us the last four holes. It let up right as we were leaving. It was still fun though. It was a warm day and the rain felt good.
Good times with daddy.
Lastly, we have Sunday naps. It did actually last a good 10-20 min. I was impressed.
Bring on July and all the birthday/holiday fun! It will be epic! :)
