Family Vacation

Right after school ended we went on a family vacation to Vegas. It was a blast! We had so much fun being with family! The night before we left Ms M dislocated her elbow. Of course I couldn't get it back in and had to take her to the ER. It was so late, but the Dr. finally got it back in. She has a mosquito bite on her arm and he thought her arm was cracked too. Luckily it wasn't.

On our way into Vegas we decided to stop at Hoover Dam. We have never gone there before and it was really cool. HOT! But COOL!

At the hotel we set up our switch to our projector. The kids, and the grownups had fun playing Mario Cart on it.

One of the best things about Vegas is the food. We ate lots of yummy food!

Grandma watched the kids so us adults could go out on the town.  We had a good time eating, walking a little of the strip, and going to the Bellagio.

And of course we went swimming, A LOT. The lazy river was shut down until our last full day there. That stunk! But at least it opened so we could do it before leaving.

We also went on a hike at the Red Rocks. It was really pretty. I was afraid it was going to be too hot. In Vegas it was 100 degrees and when we got to the start of our hike it was 82 degrees. It felt really good. The end of the hike had a beautiful view of the strip. We are definitely going back!

Track & Summer

RB and I made the kids do track this year. They always promise to exercise in the summer and they never do. So this year they had to do track. The older two are NOT happy with us. We get angry rebuttals, and cries of unfair every practice. The younger two love it. However, they will finish the season whether they like it or not. Ms M did so good on the first race of the night. She just didn't want to stop and didn't know she was supposed too. She kept running and finally some boys ran over and told them to stop. Those girls were sooo cute! Buddy Boy rocked his as well. The older two are more distance runners but don't believe me yet. MJ did well on the shot put though for the first time ever. It took her two throws to figure it out, but she got it on the third. I hope she continues it and I'd like to see how she progresses. Lil did good on her softball throw event too. It's good for all of them to try new things!

RB and I celebrating summer with some Taco Bus. YUM!

The kids had a burn our school work party on the last day of school. They loved it!

RB and I went to his cousins wedding on the last day of school too. Luckily we could leave early once our rooms were finished. The ceremony was beautiful! Congrats to both of them!

This is what happens when people get bored at my home. :)

Next up, VEGAS VACATION BABY!

Color Run, Four Graduations, RB's 39th Birthday, & A Choir Concert

The annual TMC color fun run was once again a success. It was also once again, COLD. We had a great night though!

Graduation #1: Lil from 5th grade. She LOVED her teachers this year and will miss them greatly when she goes to intermediate.

Graduation #2: Ms M from kindergarten. She learned so much this year! She made it into the dual immersion next year too. So yea for Spanish!

Graduation #3: Marcus's. We traveled the insane 9 hours up to Gillette to say congrats! We love stopping at Independence and Martins Cove on our way there and back. Such great places to stop and walk around.

RB has officially turned 39. I hope he had a good birthday! His birthday was squashed in between school functions. I try to make it special for him.

MJ had her choir concert the same time Lil graduated. So I went with Lil and RB went with MJ. I made him video all of her songs so I could hear them all. I'm so glad he did! They did a great job!

Graduation #4: Damian's. We once again traveled 6 hours to party with family. We actually didn't see Damian or Marcus graduate because of the times which they did it. But we got to party with the family before and afterwards. It was good! Congrats to both of them!

The month of May has been crazy! Fun, busy, and crazy! Hopefully summer calms down a little and we can enjoy some time off!
