Santa, Ward Party, & Thanksgiving Pics

While eating at RB's parents home one Sunday we got to help with Christmas decorations. When the Santa was brought out it was a huge hit. Ms M instantly claimed it for herself and got upset at anyone who tried to be near it too. Daddy was supposed to be holding Santa for a timeout and that lasted for a few minutes before Ms M's cuteness won out again.

At the ward party they had stations for the kids to do crafts and things before dinner. They really liked making candy canes made out of pipe cleaner and fruit loops. They did well sitting on Santa's lap too but I don't have that picture yet.

Ms M had a few rough nights and this is her crashed out again after being up for awhile.

At thanksgiving my sister left her phone by my other sister and I. What do you do with an unattended phone? Take selfies of course! The funny thing is even though she has been on her camera roll since then, she never stopped to look at the pictures until about a week ago. That is when I got the call to so say "Haha, I finally saw your pics." Then she sent them to me so I knew what they looked like. Hehe. I love my sisters!

Tree Decorating and the Light Show

Decorating the tree is always a fun, non-stressful (not) event. Fun, definitely. Non-stressful, not even close. Having a two and a three year old that are so willing and eager to help can be a bit overwhelming.  I'm glad the older two understand better and are very helpful! We did live though and I think the tree turned out pretty good. Plus, everyone had a good time and that is what really matters.

Buddy hung everything one two branches. Ms M would get the ornament from Aunt Chel, swing it around a couple of times, give it to me, and then go get another one. I would then pass it on to Buddy who find a place on the tree. Even it if was right next to something else. He was having fun and we let him hang them wherever he wanted too.

We love the light show at the City office. I love how close to home it is and it's free. We went to the Bay's light show this year and were a little disappointed. It was done by someone different and all the usual lights were gone. Still fun to see but not the same. So we are glad that the city lights have improved this year. They have some new things and it is really fun to watch. Ms M cries every time we have to leave.

The best part of the Bay lights was RB's comment about these packages: Too bad those are crappy presents.

Can't wait for more festive fun!

Thanksgivings

Thanksgiving was with my family again this year. All my brothers and sisters were there. Plus my brothers three kids were able to drive down and spend time with us too. We had a great time. We did get some hotel rooms since we wont all fit in the house anymore. That made it so we could go swimming the one night. The kids really liked that.

The rest of the time was spent at my parents home eating, and visiting. We did go to the movies too and some saw Mocking Jay Part 1 while others went to Big Hero 6. Overall, it was a great visit and we had a great time.

Ms M claimed great grandma as hers. They would sit and play together in her chair often. It was very cute! Even now as I type this Ms M is telling me about grandma by pointing to her and grunting. Love it!

 Breakfast at the hotel.

Fun at my parents. My dad will heat up the garage. This is where we would eat and the kids would play. It makes it so the kids have somewhere to go and they are not stuck downstairs the whole time.

I love the holidays and the time we get to spend with family! Can't wait till the next get together!

Tree Hunting

Tree hunting this year was pretty uneventful. Yes, it snowed on us the entire time we were up there but we still had a ton a fun! Ms M and Buddy were only out of the van for the first little bit. Then they sat in the van with grandma until we got back from cutting out tree.
After we went sledding. That was a blast. There was a bush they were jumping and going over. My nephew was getting a ton of air. It was awesome. Lil did go into the small creek though. She got wet and then went to the van. That was our only mishap. We all had a great time!

RB's sister got this picture of us on the way home. It looked like our tree was going to fly away. We stopped and tied it down more so it wouldn't lift up like that. Funny pic. though.

Novembers Oddball Things

I love when all my children play together. I'm glad I got this one on camera to prove it really does happen sometimes.

Whenever Ms M and Buddy Boy get the camera going it is always humorous what comes out.

We did actually get some snow in Nov. It has long since melted and today it is raining. Hopefully we will get more before Christmas. MJ LOVES playing in the snow. She is always the last one back inside. She wanted to be buried in it and of course I had to get a pic.

Relief Society craft for Super Saturday. I love how they turned out!

MJ and Lil have a ton of sleeping pictures. So when I saw this I had to get a picture of it. They are so cute together!

For our Christmas card this year I wanted a pic. of our feet with empty shoes in it since I am expecting again in May. We ended up going with one with our feet in a circle but I liked these pics too so I posted them here.

Yes it looks like I am taking MJ out. Hehe.

Next up, Tree Hunting and Thanksgiving.
