Birthday Party

The girls wanted another water party this year for their birthday party. We combined it again for both of them. I love it that way. All the kids came and left with a smile on their faces so it must have been okay. We started with cookies and cupcakes. Then we opened presents before heading outside to get wet.
The candle six plus one candle for Lil's seven, and then six plus three for MJ's nine.

Drip, Drip, Drench.

Sling Shot.

Water balloon volleyball.

Sprinklers.

After the party fun.

Hope everyone had fun!

Happenings

Outside fun!

Aunt Chel trying to ride a bike again and receiving advice from Buddy. We need to get our other bike out that has a smaller frame and see if that works.

While playing the Wii the other day MJ accidentally hit Buddy with the controller. I had to get the battle wound to remember.

Swim lessons are here again. We skipped last year since the Nat was doing renovations. The girls are doing awesome this year. Lil still wants to plug her nose and she doesn't hold her breath for very long, but MJ is doing great. She is putting her face in the water and doing everything very well. Yea! The little ones are a little jealous that they are not able to swim but they enjoy watching when they come.

July 5th

Today we started the day early. Rb's nephew got baptized and it was really good to go and see. Two things struck me. 1) Grandparents really love their grandchildren and will do anything for them. Even take them to church every week. 2) The talk on the Holy Ghost made the comment that the Holy Ghost is our friend with our best interest at heart. So true how he will never lead us astray and always wants us to choose the right and do the right thing. It was a wonderful event with many family members helping out doing different things.

After we had a lunch. It was fun to sit and visit with everyone. Plus, it wouldn't be family love without a take-down!

Yum, frosting!

Ms M was feeding her ice-cream to the dog. Funny how she loved the dog and wouldn't leave it alone, while her brother screamed and ran away every time it got too close.

Lil also lost her second tooth today. The funnest part is she let me pull both of them out. I had a Kleenex and as I wiggled and pulled she would pull back, and then come forward again for me to try again. Both times she had no idea I had pulled it. She would go to wiggle it again, and be like hey where did it go. She was so funny to watch and I'm glad she is happy she is finally losing teeth.

Once we got home the girls decorated their shirts with Lil's blow-design markers. Now I want you to know that is not easy. Lil had me do hers because she could blow hard enough. By the time I got done going around the twirls I was light headed and had to take a break. I'm glad the girls were okay with just using them as normal markers. They did a great job decorating them and being creative.

Ms M playing around.

That night RB did a mini firework show for us. Chel and her boy came too to watch. It was fun.

Buddy got scared again this year and went inside.

Until they were done and then he would peak back outside.

I can't wait for the 24th to come with more fireworks and family fun!

4th of July

For the 4th of July we decided to go and see the Brigham City fireworks. It was just our little family this time. When we got there the three youngest played on the playground for a bit. Then we took a walk, went to the bathroom before the lines got too long, and then played on the blanket till the show started.

After staying up late to watch Rio 2 on my birthday and the firework show on the 3rd, the kids were pretty cranky. Late nights equal wound up kids, and tired kids. Ms M did pretty good until the fireworks. Then she was done and was crying a bit through the fireworks but we lived.

Happy 4th of July!
