Days 2, & 3- Las Vegas

Vegas was a blast. It was the most relaxing part of our vacation. First we did some shopping. The kids got some needed clothes including these pj's the girls got.

The beds had these decorative pillows on them. They made good whacking tools. We got into a pretty good pillow fight with them.

Day 3 was our full day there. We started out by eating breakfast at the Harrah. Once we got back it was straight to the pool. After a few hours I took the little ones up and put them down for a nap. The others joined soon for a few down hours. Then we did it all over again. Lunch/dinner at the Harrah, swimming, and then bed. It was a great day!

Buddy didn't like the lazy river as much as Ms M. Ms M LOVED it. I know these pics don't always show a happy face with her, but whenever I took her out she screamed and tried to go back into the water. She loved floating between my legs as we went around and around.

Buddy really liked these shallow pools. He ran, jumped, rolled, and had a great time. The girls liked the deeper parts of the pool. They like to chase each other out there.

We had a great time in Vegas. Next up, CA & Disneyland!

Day 1 & 2- St. George

We started this years summer vacation in St. George. We arrived and swam in the pool. Then the next day we hit a trail called the St. George Narrows. At least that is what we were told it was called. We were not going to hike all the way up it with all our little ones. So we took a look, and hiked on top of it. The kids had fun and they all did really well. Ms M didn't like going down, but did great going up. MJ didn't want to get close to the cracks and of course Lil wanted to go all the way up it. We had a good time even though it was almost 100 degrees outside.

We found the narrows where it comes out on top. RB climbed a little ways down with Buddy.

The kids saw this guy fly by and they thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Chillin' on the patio.

Next stop Vegas!

Little Update

My school district had a family fun night. We were going to go as a family but one of the little ones ended up sick. So I got to have a girls night out. We had a lot of fun at the pool. They wanted to stay until they closed and so we did.

Here is Buddy and Ms M eating a snack while watching TV down the stairs. Buddy is lucky his sister didn't kick him down. What cuties!

Ashton's Graduation

Over Memorial Day weekend my nephew graduated from high school. Since he lives 9 hours away, we had a serious drive ahead of us. On the way there we stopped at Independence Rock. It was a much needed break and worth it.

Buddy brought about 10 million toys with him and had to have them in the hotel room with us. Good because he had something to play with, but bad because he is very possessive of his toys. Plus he knows exactly which toys he had, so we had to make sure we got every single one.

Ms M with her lunch hat on.

The hotel had a water park attached to it. The water was freezing in the lazy river, the kiddie pool, and the slides. They had one medium sized pool that was warmer and then a HOT tub. We had fun freezing and playing in the different areas. Buddy went back and forth between the freezing kiddie pool and the warm pool. He loved it. RB commented on how the lazy river wasn't very lazy. The water pounded you as you went under it, and oh yea it was freezing water you had to go under. I shouldn't complain though because we had plenty of laughs and still had a lot of fun. Plus at the very end of the night MJ decided to go down the slide. We were so proud of her for doing it. She was scared but went down TWICE. Yea MJ!

Ashton's graduation went well. We were all color coordinated too. The lunch after was good, and after Ash-Bear had walked the older kids went outside to play. That was good to keep them entertained.

Playing at the park while the other graduates walked.

On the way home we stopped at Martins Cove. RB had never been there and we decided this summer we will be going back! We just did the Devils Gate walk. Short but worth the sight at the end of the trail.

The snake that had RB and MJ freaked out.

MJ was supposed to help push. She is doing a great job letting daddy do all the work.

It was a great weekend, even with all of our travels. Congrats Ashton! We are very proud of your accomplishments!!
