First Day of School

The first day of school is always fun for us. We have been practicing our morning routine for a week now and the first day went really well. Getting four up and ready is completely different than three especially since Ms M needs to eat before leaving. Here are pictures of us all before school.

Buddy Boy.

RB and I .

The girls with their cute backpacks.

My babysitter is so AWESOME! She sent me these pictures after we had left for work. I know she loves and takes good care of my kids!

The first day of school went well for all of us. Extremely hot in both of our schools but still good. Getting back into the homework routine has been a struggle. We have enjoyed playing too much. The girls fight homework but they will get used to it and learn the less they argue and fight it the faster it will go.

These next two pictures have nothing to do with the first day of school. My sister called the other day and asked to talk to the girls about how school was going. Lil talked for awhile about school and then went off about something. When I saw her this is what she was doing. She was so proud that she could talk into two "cell phones" at the same time and still be heard. No my sister really couldn't hear her but I guess Lil could still hear. She is too funny!

Old Stuff

I finally downloaded the pictures off my phone. I'm glad I did because I discovered these pictures.

These first two pictures are the kids playing in daddy's classroom at the end of last year. We were getting everything in our rooms put away and the kids were watching a movie with all of their friends. It was really cute.

These next two pictures are of the KSL chopper that came and visited our school last Oct. They flew in and then the weather guy did a presentation for the school. It was really good and the kids loved it. We took our classes by the chopper and they got to see it up close. The weather guy said the only reason they knew our school was the correct one was because we were all out there yelling and waving to them as they flew in. Good memorable times.

Brigham City Temple Open House

This morning was great!
We were able to go through the Brigham City Temple. It was so beautiful and the girls LOVED it! Even Ms M who was so peaceful she slept right through it. :) Buddy Boy on the other hand was a little terror the last 5-10 min. He wanted to walk everywhere and wouldn't wait for us. He'd just walk around people and try to take off. When we would grab him and he'd scream. Yes, we were the ones with the screaming child, SORRY! We were able to go with RB's parents and it was a lot of fun. It was worth the wait for the bus to come and get us too.

Here is grandma with Ms M.

Got to love the fountain.

RB with his parents.

Out of 65 pictures we did get ONE good family pic. In all the others Lil is either staring somewhere else, MJ has her necklace in her mouth, or Buddy Boy is being a buddy.

Waiting for the correct bus to come.

Enjoying the cool weather in the shade.

Ms M and I.

Buddy 1 and Buddy 2.

I hope you all got to see the temple even if it is just from the outside. It is so beautiful and I can't wait til it opens for services.

Before You Say Anything

This title is appropriate for this post. Trust me. First Buddy Boy learned how to cover his mouth whenever he did anything wrong, or funny from my brother. He learned well and still does it everyday. It's very cute and reminds us of the speak, hear, and see no evil monkeys.

The kids were making a ton of noise the other day. I went upstairs and found this. They were playing a game that had something to do with rolling golf balls around in the bath tub. Now before you say anything the potty Lil is holding is clean. Trust me. It hasn't been used for many years and it is clean. Somehow that was part of their game too.

While we were in GR last visiting my family my oldest brother gave bronco rides to the kids. Of course it was a BIG hit and they all loved it. Luckily my sister-in-law got some pictures for me.

While I was helping RB the other day Ms M began to get very upset. MJ was very happy to help out and was so proud when she fell asleep while holding her.

Have a great day!

First Sunday Back

With summer ending, school meetings beginning, and the family back together again it was time to head to church. We took some pictures before my meeting this morning. I had to redo the pictures of the kids laying down. The one I printed for our wall cut off Ms M. This time I positioned the kids closer so hopefully it won't happen again.

I admit I love digital. I love being able to take a million pictures and then deleting the ones I don't like. Otherwise I doubt I ever would have gotten this cute picture of all the kids. I love how Buddy Boy is sitting.

Ms M's first time going to church. She is even practicing her pirate eye.

The day is over now and I'm enjoying some peace and quiet while the whole house is asleep. Buddy Boy hasn't liked strangers for many months and now all of a sudden that is changing. He is starting to take off by himself leaving me searching for his little behind. He also has perfected the screaming screech when he doesn't get his way. Yea for the terrible twos even though he's not two yet.

Well I'd write more but Ms M decided she really wasn't going to sleep yet. So maybe later. Have a great week!
