More Pics.

We decided to go to RB's parents home for Easter dinner. I'm glad we did. It was good to be out of the house. On the way home all the kids were asleep. It was funny opening the door to find this.


Little Rat has so many funny sleeping poses. His hands will be in the weirdest positions and he'll sleep like that for hours. He is finally getting into a schedule as well and sleeping at night. This I am very grateful for.


Since I am home I get to take MJ to school and pick her up. On the nice warmer days we walk. I put Little Rat in his car seat, and then put it in the double running stroller. If I put it sideways Lil can ride up front still. To make sure Little Rat stays warm he has been wearing a hat besides the blanket that is wrapped around him. Good thing he is asleep and isn't upset about the hat being too big.

It's fun watching MJ get excited the closer to school we get. Then she has to say I love you to everybody and then she blows kisses. It is so dang cute. It is her little routine before heading into the building to line up with her class. Then we come home and while Little Rat sleeps, Lil and I get some time together.

Easter 2011

Happy Easter! We decided to do Easter after church this year because the girls slept in. Once they woke up it was time to get them ready for church. So while they were at church the Easter Bunny came and hid the eggs in the backyard. What a gorgeous day! The girls loved running around and finding the eggs. Then we made egg sandwiches for lunch. Yummy! MJ informed me that at church today they did not talk about Easter, they talked about the gold plates. I'm sure something was said about Easter but as long as she got something out of it, I'm not complaining.

RB wanted to find one with the Reese's chocolate egg inside. It took him about three eggs before he found one.


MJ wanted to know why the Easter Bunny didn't hid any up on their play set. Who knows.


Opening up the eggs. RB bought little peeps and they actually fit inside the eggs really well. Now hopefully the girls will just eat them because I think they are gross.

Easter has been great this year. We have been reading in The Friend about what happened the last eight days before Easter. The girls have really enjoyed reading one each day up to today. Last week our home teachers came and challenged us to remember all of Jesus' life and not just his resurrection this Easter year. So we've been trying to do that as well. Well Happy Easter again everyone!

Petting Zoo

MJ came home from school last week with a flier about a petting zoo. So we had a girls night out and we went. It wasn't that bad once you got used to the smell. Lil had a blast holding all the animals that they would allow. MJ is more reserved and was happy just petting them. The piglets running around being crazy, and the dogs were the favorites. I think MJ had more fun saying hi to all the kids she knew from school than she did looking at the animals. It was fun and once we were home it was time for a bath and a movie.

Little Rat's 2 Weeks Appt.

Little Rat is growing very fast. On Friday he had his 2 week appt. They want them up to their birth weight by two weeks. Well he was a pound heavier. He is only in the 9% in height and weight, and the 5% for head size. Even though he is still small, all is well with him. He still has his own little schedule. Don't ask me what it is though, because I don't have a clue. I just go with it and try to keep him more awake during the day so maybe (haha) he'll sleep more at night.

Besides that nothing is really new. I'm getting really lazy having to stay at home. I'm going to start working out next week before RB leaves for school. Then I can't use Little Rat as an excuse for not being able to leave the house. Well hopefully next time things will be a little more exciting. Have a great day!

More of Parks

It has been so fun being at home these past two weeks. Parks still has absolutely no schedule but we still have 4 weeks to get that taken care of. MJ loves her little brother, and while Lil does too she gets a little mommy attention deprived. A little carry up the stairs or a sitting on my lap does the trick and shes back to good. Lil LOVES to help get things and hold him every chance she gets. Its been good having him at home. We've stayed st home a lot because RSV is still big until May. So RB and MJ change clothes after school every day and Parks stays home.

On Sat. we did go get our family pics. taken. The girls were fabulous and cooperated the whole tome. Parks on the other hand would not go to sleep, and was pretty darn cranky. He was awake for 6 hrs. He slept great that night! And all the next day! hehe. I can't wait to see the pics that were taken and get some ordered.

Until then you will have to just enjoy my own pics.
