Ms M's Baptism

Over Labor Day Weekend Ms M had the opportunity to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As much as I love technology, it can be a pain too. We had practiced with Zoom, before the day to make sure it would work. Then the day of, I couldn't get it to have any sound. I was a little panicked because we were the first of the day, and I didn't want to put everybody late. Then the bishop called and said the font was not filled, so it would be another 30min. to an hour. I felt so blessed. In that time we trouble shooted the sound and got it fixed. Family was able to watch via Zoom in our home and on the road too. It was a beautiful day and we are so proud of Ms M for making this decision!

August

August was filled with two soccer tournaments. Buddy Boy was asked to play up in one tourney and then his team played in another. They took first place on their second tourney. Yeah! Then the Saiyan's Club threw a thank you coaches party. We love our Saiyan's family!

We finished the bulk of our shed. That means we hung our projector screen outside and have enjoyed some outdoor late night movies. Good memories!

We made a trip to WY. My parents needed some help with some projects. The kids love grandma's and pa's so they of course had a great time!

I remember digging this pit as a kid. We dug it all out and then helped dad lay the bricks around it for our trampoline. Since the grandkids don't come over as much and the tramp just sits ideal most of the summer my parents decided it was was time to move on. That meant filling in the tramp hole, and getting some grass.

This one decided she didn't want to leave grandmas. Since she had no commitments she stayed for an extra week. Then my sister, Aunt May, took her to her house for a week. She LOVED it! She was spoiled rotten and loves her Uncle Daran! She had a great time!

While we were at my parents we also helped cement the fire-pit. My dad didn't fill it all the way in. Just the old fire part. We were able to have a fire the next day once the cement dried. It's a lot nicer now not having that extra depth.

Here are some odd pics of the kids having fun.

Lil took this pic. She's not sure how she got the three frame look, but it looks really cool with the sunset.

The PTA worked extra hard this year to make sure every teacher in our school got an AC unit! They are so nice! Grateful to every parent who helped donate so we do not roast like ducks during those first and last months of the school year!

Our shed is almost completely finished. Just some little stuff now, like trim around windows and things like that. We love it and being able to use it!

School has begun again. Even though this year will be different than any other at least we are IN school. Learning needs to be done in person as much as possible! RB and Buddy are both 4th grade, Ms M and I are both 3rd, Em is kindergarten, Lil is 8th, and Mayo is 10th. Here is all of us in our masks too that will be become a norm for everyone.
