New Computer Equals Disorganization

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Spring break came and went. With it our computer went out and we had to get another. We are still in the transition of getting things off the old and putting it on the new. It's been a long process. So here is a little update of random things that have happened since my last post.

The Em-A-Nator is still the center of attention it seems. Growing and still as cute as ever.

RB and MJ went on a field trip. 

The Aggie football team went to RB's parents home to do some yard work. I had a funeral to help with so we split the kids and conquered. RB, MJ, and Buddy Boy had a great time with all the football players. They found Lil's toy dog in the bushes too. What great work and service!

RB was in charge for some of it to show the players his dads train setup. They thought that was pretty cool!

Easter was good. Spent at home and the grandparents. The Easter Bunny left ribbon to their gifts this year. They loved that.

MJ put a cup out for the Easter Bunny to leave his business in. :)

Buddy Boy came home from preschool with this as an April Fools Joke. The best I've seen in awhile!

Vegas Tournament Get Away

RB and I headed to Vegas for a little get away just the two of us. It was so nice to drive there and only have to stop once to fill up with gas. You forget how many times you have to stop with kids until they don't come with you. The main reason we went is for the Mountain West championship games and to cheer on the Aggies. However, the lazy river, the food, and everything else was an added bonus. 

The Aggies won their game Wed. which meant we actually got to see them play on Thurs. (Even if they lost we still would have gone!) We purchases our tickets and we were four rows from the top in the balcony section. We were sitting there when a MW worker came and started to talk with us. We were the lucky winners of the better seats in the house, or something like that. 

So we followed him down to the top of the bottom section where we watched the game until the first time out at 16:00 min. 

Then we were four rows from the bottom. What a game it was too! We were happy the Aggies showed up to play. They were ties with 3 sec. to go. Then the refs called two questionable technicals and you can't win with that. We had multiple fans from other teams telling us how crappy that was, and how we should have won, etc. Frustrating, but it was still fun to be there. 

We got my favorite pretzel bites. Yummy!

RB already had it all planned out that this was going to be a burger eating trip. We started out on our way down to Vegas and went to a different spot each night. 

 The Burger Bar was the least impressive. Bobby Flays was the best for the amount of money you spent. Gordon's was really good but really expensive too. We are looking forward to going back to Bobby's on our next trip. 

We did have the awesome experience of being able to fly in a helicopter. It was only for about 15 min. as they took us down the strip and back again. It was spectacular though. We were right up front and we loved every minute of it. We are now saving for a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon. 

After the ride we were too excited to go back to our hotel. So we ate dinner on the strip (pasta, not burgers) and had a good time walking around. 

On our way home we saw a motorcycle lane had been put in after a construction zone. How thoughtful. Hehe. :) 

We had a great trip and are glad to be back with the kids again. 

Gymnastics, Em-a-nator Update, FHE, & Star Student

We went to a gymnastics meet at USU. USU won and it was a lot of fun to watch. We want to come back next year and watch another. All the kids had a good time too. 

We are in trouble now. The Em-a-nator is now standing in her crib instead of just laying down and going to sleep. She has six teeth now. Four on top and two on bottom. She weighs 20 lbs which was the 78%, her height is 26 in which was 20%, and head 17 in. which was 50%. So big in weight and short in stature. 

I had to take a picture of this when we came up and saw where Ms M had finally fallen asleep.

For FHE we did the vinegar/water and baking soda activity with food coloring. The kids liked singing the songs, and talking about the scriptures and lessons. The lesson was on being patient for things and not having to have it right then just because you want it. You can see their desserts on the table since they waited all FHE to eat them they got to have extra as a reward. Sometimes waiting brings greater rewards than instant gratification. 

Buddy was Star Student for preschool. This is how we decorated his poster at first. I liked it. However, Buddy threw a fit because no other poster had objects taped to it. So he took them off and colored where they were at and just told his class about them. Whatever, it wasn't worth the fight.

Nephews Baptism

At the end of February we traveled eight hours to my brothers home for my nephews baptism. It was fun to get away for awhile and be with family. Sadly, RB couldn't come as he needed to go and help his parents. The kids enjoyed playing while the adults talked. It was a good fun trip.

So one may ask what do you do for eight hours in the car. Well here you go...

*take pictures of your caravan.

*play with the windows and watch them go up and down. 

*enjoy the scenery, especially when it is tunnels. 

*use the selfie stick to push on and off the lights. 

*watch the baby make a mess of herself while she sucks on licorice. 

*take selfies. 

*lastly, listen to a book on audible.
