Easter

For Easter we headed to WY. I got the go ahead from my Dr. and we took off. It was a great mini-vacation. It has been many months since we have been to see grandma and grandpa. The kids were super excited!

Coloring eggs is always an adventure.

Easter morning. The kids woke up at different times so see what the bunny left. They were all excited for their new clothes. MJ and Lil thought the chalk stencils were pretty cool too.

Egg hunting in the back yard. My brother and sister-in-law were able to come too. It was fun to see them and play some games.

Now for some random things that were fun while at grandma and pas home.

Dog piling daddy is always a fun game!

Drawing with white board markers. Mj did a great job with this bird!

 More tackling daddy.

Ms M found some stickers and had a great time putting them all over her and everyone else.

Reading with great-grandma.

Ms M was hiding. Great hiding place!

The only down part was we had to stop every 40ish min. on our drives so I could get out and walk. It made for a longer drive but it was worth it. We had a great Easter and a great time at the parents home!

Spring Break

Yes, this post is out of order. Easter come at the beginning of Spring Break but I'm going to post that after this. We have loved the first of April! Having a week off has been fantastic! The kids have loved playing, eating donuts, and being home with mom and dad. Plus we have only had one day of bad weather.

We took MJ and Lil on a double sister date too. After lunch at the Grist Mill we went and saw Cinderella at the theatre. It was a good movie and we had a great time.

Tomorrow we are going to all watch the spring Aggie football scrimmage. It will be a good day and maybe I'll add pics. if I take any.

Buddy's 4th Birthday

Buddy Boy thought his birthday was never going to come. The week before was full of tears because the day had not come yet. Once it did come, he was very happy! The day started with his sisters making him breakfast. Yummy!

He was so excited to be sung Happy Birthday in primary too. He commented on how they must have forgot because it was taking so long. His teacher told him to wait for a little longer and sure enough right after she said that, they got to the birthdays. I guess Buddy had a look like, "how did you know." After church we let him open his presents. They were a success. One of the Hot Wheel sets he commented on how that was the exact one he wanted from the store.

Of course after opening the gifts you have to play with them. We spent so much time playing we almost forgot about the cake.

I think he had a great time! Happy Birthday 4 year old! We love you!

The Rest of March

So I realize most of these pics are of Ms M. Her little personality is really starting to show. No, she is not talking yet. However, she still lets you know exactly how she is feeling and what she wants.

She got sick for a few days and was very cuddly. I woke up one day and found this. I had to get a pic.

She fell off a stool as well and hit her chin. It stayed really dark for a long time. It is now finally getting lighter and looking normal again.

Helping with the dishes.

The tired phase of pregnancy has stayed the whole 9 months this time. After school one day Ms M decided to nap with me.

When the kids don't have school the next day they like to sleep in the front room. Too cute all of them together.

On Pintrest I found a rice crispy roll. This is our failed attempt at it. It did taste yummy though! We will definitely give this one another try on another day.

Lastly, for pack meeting this month we had a drug dog come. The kids loved it! All but MJ got to come with me. They loved watching the dog.
