January

Wow, January is already over with. That is hard for me to wrap my head around. We have had a lot of random things happen that I wanted to post about. So here it goes.

RB was talking to some co-workers about how cool a Taco Tot Tuesday would be on the lunch menu. One co-worker ran into the head lunch lady at the district and suggested it to her. She liked the idea and Feb. 3rd was our first Taco Tot Tuesday on the menu. Cool!

Fun at grandmas on Sundays. They love building with the Legos.

My awesome co-worker made me a hat. Then with all of her travels over the Christmas break decided to make one for all my kids too. They got to pick their colors and they LOVE them. MJ and Lil really love the flower and Buddy loves the Aggie Blue color. We must be teaching him right! :) She did a fantastic job and is so talented. The kids each love their new hats!

This is one way to play with your toys. Just climb in with them.

MJ loves pointing out the pretty sunsets, and taking pictures of them.

One Sunday the kids were chasing each other from the kitchen to the living room and back again. Ms M is kind of klutzy like Lil and I. She tripped and hit her head on the banister. It didn't really bleed which surprised up, but the trickle of blood wouldn't really stop. You can't put a band aid on the head and so we took her into the ER just to be safe. She did fantastic and really enjoyed the attention at the ER. When they wrapped her head up with the numbing stuff they gave her a Dino bracelet to match. One bracelet was not enough. She went crazy with it and loved wearing it. She did get two staples in her head didn't even flinch or cry when they put them in. She was great!

FHE activity of playing with play-dough.

We had some mysterious water appear on our one speaker downstairs. Finally RB decided to take matters into his own hands. He did tear out the wet sheetrock and since he put the whole in the ceiling we have had no water. It is still a mystery of where the water came from.

At grandpas we got the kids some hot-wheels so they all have their own cars. We were having fights at home since they were all Buddy's. They picked out some cool cars and Ms M came up the stairs with this one. HAHA. A toilet car. Too funny since we are trying to potty train.

My neighbor sent this to us. It is her daughter and MJ. They are so cute together. How time flies!

MJ had to show Aunt Chel her mustaches she got at a b-day party.

Here are some random pictures of the kids being cute.

The kids really haven't used their snow things this year. It's been a warm winter. Good thing they have played in it while it was here!

Taking kids to school and picking them up again can be so exhausting.

January treated us well. Now on to February.

New Years Eve

Since my Uncle's funeral was so close to New Years my sister and her kids decided to stay and celebrate with us. We got all our Christmas decorations down which was nice because her older kids were a huge help!

On New Years Eve we had a party. TONS and TONS of food! The chocolate fountain, and cotton candy machine were the favorites.

We had guitar playing, movie watching, and game playing as well.

At midnight we had to have a sister photo shoot. We took about 30 pictures which progressively got better and better. Here are three for your entertainment.

On New Years day Buddy was told to go get dressed. He came down such a sad boy because he was stuck. About 10 shirts later he was unstuck and happy again. What a cutie!

We had a great New Year's! It was fun to have family over to celebrate in such a big way!

Uncles Funeral

My Uncle Reed passed away in Dec. before Christmas. This was hard news on all of my siblings as we all loved Uncle Reed. I have very fond memories of being at my grandparents home and having Uncle Reed and Aunt Annette there as well. He was a great man, father, and will be missed greatly! Sadly, funerals seem to be the only way to get extended family together sometimes. This is the case this time. Luckily the funeral was here in UT. My sister and parents came to stay at our home so we could car pool down to the funeral.

Here is Ms M stealing grandma's pillow that vibrates. She is also in the blanket that Katielynn made for the new baby. She did a great job!

It was great seeing all the family at the funeral. I'm glad everyone made it safe as the weather was not cooperating. It was FREEZING!!! Our poor CA cousins were not prepared for the harsh weather conditions.

At Thanksgiving Chel and I took selfies on May's phone.

While we were eating lunch after the funeral I left for a min. and they paid me back with their own selfie.

We will miss Uncle Reed but we are glad we have such good memories of a great man!
