Buddy's Birthday

Well it's official, we have a 3 year old again in the house. Buddy is such a fun person to be around. He talks all the time and uses such fun words. Quite the opposite of his sister who's main word is "gah." Buddy LOVES trains, planes, monster trucks, and playing soccer. He was really excited for his birthday.
Buddy wanted blue cupcakes and I really thought I would have to use food coloring. However, at the store they had blueberry cake and frosting. It was quite yummy. I love these pictures as Buddy is being very delicate with his frosting and Ms M is just digging in.

Grandma and pa Pedersen came and celebrated with us. It was fun having them there to see Buddy open his blue trains. He got an engine and a caboose. That was the main thing he wanted to get. He also got some monster trucks, a soccer ball, a good bubble machine, and some houses/buildings to go around his train track.

Overall, I think he had a good birthday!
The next week he had a doctors appointment. He cried all the way there, "I don't want to go to the doctors!" Once there I told him it wouldn't be scary because I would be right there with him the entire time. After taking his weight, they checked his height. When done he looked at me and proclaimed loudly, "that too was scary mom."  Then the doctor came in and this is the conversation that took place:
Dr: Parker did u have a birthday?
Parks: NO!
Dr: u didn't have cake and ice cream?
Parks: NO!
Me: tell him the color of your cupcakes.
Parks: NO!
Me: tell him u had blue cupcakes and u got a blue train.
Parks: mom u don't have to tell him all of that!
It was a hoot. Buddy did show off for the doctor by jumping up and down, and hopping on each foot. Buddy is doing well. He is on the charts this time, yea! He is growing at his small pace like he has from the beginning. His weight is 25.38 lbs: 2%, and his height is 34.6 in:3%. He did get an inhaler for when he runs and starts coughing a ton. He has exercise asthma just like his mom.
It's great to have Buddy in the family! We love you Buddy Boy!

Lots of Fun Vidoes & One Picture

To begin, MJ's and Lils cousin came to stay with us for two weekends. The girls loved it since this is a cousin they do not see often. Outside one day they made fun ramps with the slides and sleds. Then they would let Buddy's cars fly down them and try to get them to land in the sleds at the end. They loved it!

MJ was so funny when St. Patrick's day came. She loves that the leprechaun changes food green. I didn't do the milk this year as RB hates that. We did have green muffins again though, and he changed their water bottle water green. MJ and Lil were having a great time with it. Buddy was convinced it was mommy though that did it. "Nutt-un, it was mommy not the leprechaun," he would tell them. Funny how the two year old knew who really did it, but the 8 and 6 year old didn't.

Ms M loves laughing. It is fun to entertain her just to hear her laugh!

Buddy loves riding his horse. Now he literally rides it around the house! Too funny!

Ms M found her shadow. Too cute!

Hope you enjoyed! Up next is Buddy's birthday and doctor appointment.

Already March

Time is marching on. Lil had a poster she had to do for her Spanish class. We had to use a translator to get the words. She said she did good presenting it to the class. We had fun putting it together!

This is how Ms M's hair looks after getting dinner out of it. It is getting really long but not quite long enough to do a lot of things with it.

This is what we call games on a cold Sunday night. The kids loved that we projected it onto our ceiling. We sprawled out and had fun playing.

Lil took these next pictures. They went outside to take pictures of the sunset and this is what I got on my phone.

Lastly, the kids love sliding down the stairs. It is great fun!

Have a great day!

February so Far

February is only half over and I already have a slew of pictures to share. So lets begin (in no particular order).

My parent came for the Superbowl.  My parents wanted Denver to win and we were cheering for Seattle. We had a TON of food. We eat for most of the day! Plus our heater went out. So we put some space heaters in this room and got cozy. We stayed warm in one room and the kids loved the camp out for three days. We had fun eating, and watching the game!

Buddy got this jacket for Christmas. He loves it. It is his
roar jacket. He likes to put the hood day and scare you.

This fireman is a very good helper!

The girls had some friends over for a late night. They played sliding down the stairs, had dinner, and watched a movie. They had a great time, especially since these friends moved and they don't get to play as often anymore.

Trains are overtaking my house. With our fathers though I am not surprised. RB's dad found us a g-gauge train set that we gave the kids for Christmas. The engine is the small one on the right. RB decided Buddy needed a bigger engine. So he bought him the blue one on the left. (Buddy doesn't know yet!) We also got him a matching caboose. He will get both for his birthday. Then my dad got a car for each of the kids (picture below). Luckily we have a room big enough to accommodate all of them. Buddy and Ms M love them. Thanks dads! Here are some pictures and video.

Oh Lil. Who knows why she is upset.

We got this waffle maker for Christmas from RB's brother and family. We love it!

Ms M learned how to roll a ball back and forth. She had a great time!

USU Aggie games are in full force. We have been to about five of them. Sometimes the kids go and other times its just a daddy date with me or one of the kids. Buddy likes the games the best. This last Saturday we took the whole family and that was a blast. Ms M enjoyed herself and the kids did great! Yes, we lost but we still had fun.

We even saw Big Blue, as he came right by us and the kids were able to give him a high five. They loved it.

  MJ being MJ.

The pictures here do a great job at telling the story. I was cleaning out some cupboards and doing some rearranging in the kitchen. These two were great helpers.

 Around and around they went.

Well that is all for now. Bye!

Ms M's Check Up

Ms M had her 18 month check up. Things are going well. She is healthy and growing fast. Her weight is 24.5 lbs which is 53%, her height is 32.25 in. which is 67%, and her head is 17.7 in. which is 11%. She is finally liking nursery and goes in willingly now. She loves to tease others, especially her brother. She loves food too and can't get enough chocolate. She doesn't talk much but is starting to try more and more each day. Her hair is finally getting long enough to do cute hair dues with. Here she is with piggy-tails. So cute! We love you Ms M!
