Out little Lil is finally six. It feels like she has been five forever. She is so full of like and a tease just like her dad. We were at grandma and pa's home for her birthday and the 4th of July. I think she still had fun.
We gave her her bike early. I was not going to pack that back and forth. She needed a new one though as she had outgrown her last.

At grandmas she opened her other presents. Play-dough cookie set.
Of course brother had to open one. It was little foam grow critters.
Hello Kitty shirt.
Both girls got the game "Hedbanz, Disney" to share. What a fun game!
Pony set.
My mom txt me and asked what kind of cake Lil wanted for her birthday. My reply was, "she says a sunset cake with the ocean, people, and butterflies. hehe." Later I said, "Probably the confetti kind with dots like last year. She likes rainbows." So this is what my mom created. (She is so good to try to make the kids happy!) The blue is the ocean, the yellow the sun, and the pink the ground with butterfly poop (food is what we told the kids) sprinkles. Then on the straws we put butterfly clips all around the cake. Lil LOVED it!
Ms M loved her piece too. It looks like she ate a smurf.
One night the kids got to sleep out on the tramp. They thought this was great.
To celebrate the 4th of July we took the kids to the park. They were more interested in going down by the river though. Buddy is trying to skip rocks.
MJ found a crawdad leg and loves it. She washed it and still has it.
Then came the trampoline fun with cousins. We jumped on this thing a TON and had a blast. Buddy refused to go on it at first. Slowly he followed his cousin on. He had fun when he wasn't trying to be bossy and get everyone off but him.
Here are some more pictures of random things we did.
While we were playing with family and cousins poor RB was home alone. He did make some yummy ribs and brisket for a BBQ that we missed out on though.
The 4th and the rest of the week were great days. It was awesome to see family and have some really good laughs with both of my sisters!
