Bites

Poor Buddy boy swells up when he is bit by a mosquito. At first I thought he was having a reaction to the cheese he had with dinner. We are slowly working in cheese and dairy into his diet. He seems to be responding pretty well to it so far. Anyways, after closer inspection we realized it was a bite. He looked like he had had a seizure and he trouble talking. But after a night he was good again. I hope we can prevent too many more episodes like this one this summer.

Disney Anniversary

RB and I have been married now for 11 years. Last year we were supposed to take a big 10 year anniversary trip. However, I ended up pregnant with Ms M. So we postponed it for a year and the week after Spring Break we went to Disneyland. It was great! We have never been just the two of us and it was fun. RB had been to Disneyland many times before and has a system of what rides to ride on to minimize wait time. We rode on many rides and some we got to just stay on because nobody else was waiting. In the afternoons when things get busier we watched some of the shows and rode rides where we knew it would be a wait. That was okay though because we played Yahtzee to help pass the time. The only bad part was Soarin' and Space Mt closed down. We only got to ride those once. Oh well, next time.

The new cars ride is awesome! We can't wait to come again with all the kids and let them ride it too.

The girls sent us with a list of rides we were not allowed to ride. The tee-cups were one of them. Oh well.

In my ten years going to Disneyland with RB we know for sure 3 of the 4 Billy Hill's are the same. They are so funny!

This picture is for our principal with Doo Dah Landing. She will get a kick out of it.
We had such a good time! It was good to get away and have a vacation. Thanks mom, dad, and Aunt Chel for watching our kids for us! Love you all!

Lets Go Fly a Kite

For Spring Break this year we went to my parents home. It was good to get out of town and see my sister and sister-in-laws. It was conference weekend which made it even better. We really didn't do much over the break and that was a good feeling.

Here is Buddy dancing to music on the way to grandma's.

I'm so glad Buddy continued to do this after I started recording. He can be so cute!

I don't know how Ms M got these around her but she was crawling around with them like this around her waist. It was cute.

My sister is planning on living with us this summer. The plan is next school year for her to be our nanny. So the week after Spring Break she home with us and took care of my kids during the day. I think she did great and the kids loved it! Hopefully she wasn't too overwhelmed with everything. Here are some pics. that she took while here.

I love this pictures. We barrack Ms M in the living room so she can't fall down the stairs. For now this works and I'm glad. When it doesn't a whole new craziness will ensue.

Buddy loves helping with laundry. He's so good at it too. hehe.

For Easter the kids got kites. We finally got to go fly them. It was a blast! Buddy did so good and looked so cute flying his kite. The girls ran, and ran, and ran. Good times!

Lastly, my sister took this picture and I love it! Had to share!

Easter Part 2

Here are the pictures of Easter at Grandma & pa's home. I've had them for awhile and I am finally getting them posted. The kids had a blast looking for the eggs.

Here is the picture where the girls are still looking for eggs. Hehe. They were intent at only looking at the ground. :)

Going to daddy to read the paper about Jesus, to then get some candy.

I love holidays! Easter was great and we loved spending it with family!

Easter

Easter Eve was filled with decorating eggs. I forgot to take pictures of them actually doing it but that is okay. Buddy Boy loved putting the eggs in the cups of dye, maybe I should say smashing the eggs in the cups. It was a good time. After the eggs had dried the girls were putting stickers on them. It was a very serious and stressful event. They couldn't find the stickers they wanted.

Wait, I found it.

But oh no, it wasn't the one Lil wanted. MJ took all of those.  Luckily we lived through the decorating event.

Easter morning began with finding kites, and candy around the house. Buddy got a penguin kite, MJ a ladybug, and Lil a kitty kite.

Oh yea, I forgot they got bubbles too.

This year I made jello eggs. After church they made a perfect snack.

After our snack we headed to grandma and grandpa's home. There we did an egg hunt. Grandma had a great idea though. She found quotes and pictures that dealt with Christ and the resurrection. If the girls found an egg with a paper in it, they had to read it to us (or us to them), and then they could exchange it for some candy. The girls loved it. It helped them remember the true meaning of Easter while still having fun finding the eggs. I didn't bring my camera to the grandparents home though. As soon as I get the pictures off my mom's camera I'll post them. One picture the girls are saying how they can't find anymore and you can see one in the tree as I take the picture. It's pretty funny.

Easter was a great day filled with the spirit and family. I truly do not think about the Atonement and the Resurrection as much as I should. That is a goal of mine, to ponder those blessing more in my life. Hope you all had a great Easter too!
