Before You Say Anything

This title is appropriate for this post. Trust me. First Buddy Boy learned how to cover his mouth whenever he did anything wrong, or funny from my brother. He learned well and still does it everyday. It's very cute and reminds us of the speak, hear, and see no evil monkeys.

The kids were making a ton of noise the other day. I went upstairs and found this. They were playing a game that had something to do with rolling golf balls around in the bath tub. Now before you say anything the potty Lil is holding is clean. Trust me. It hasn't been used for many years and it is clean. Somehow that was part of their game too.

While we were in GR last visiting my family my oldest brother gave bronco rides to the kids. Of course it was a BIG hit and they all loved it. Luckily my sister-in-law got some pictures for me.

While I was helping RB the other day Ms M began to get very upset. MJ was very happy to help out and was so proud when she fell asleep while holding her.

Have a great day!

First Sunday Back

With summer ending, school meetings beginning, and the family back together again it was time to head to church. We took some pictures before my meeting this morning. I had to redo the pictures of the kids laying down. The one I printed for our wall cut off Ms M. This time I positioned the kids closer so hopefully it won't happen again.

I admit I love digital. I love being able to take a million pictures and then deleting the ones I don't like. Otherwise I doubt I ever would have gotten this cute picture of all the kids. I love how Buddy Boy is sitting.

Ms M's first time going to church. She is even practicing her pirate eye.

The day is over now and I'm enjoying some peace and quiet while the whole house is asleep. Buddy Boy hasn't liked strangers for many months and now all of a sudden that is changing. He is starting to take off by himself leaving me searching for his little behind. He also has perfected the screaming screech when he doesn't get his way. Yea for the terrible twos even though he's not two yet.

Well I'd write more but Ms M decided she really wasn't going to sleep yet. So maybe later. Have a great week!

Splash Pad Fundraiser

Our town is raising money for a splash pad. Last night they had an event at the park where all money went to the pad. We ate yummy food, and snow cones. The girls then got their faces painted and went on a train ride. We had a good night with only two mishaps.
Mishap #1: Right before leaving I was changing Ms M and she pooped on me. I had poop from my shoulder down to my waist and all over the chair. Don't ask how! We got it cleaned up, I changed, and we were finally on our way.
Mishap #2: Buddy Boy was enjoying his snow cone and minding his own business when a stupid bee came along and stung him in the arm. He started to scream and after getting the bee off he cried for a good 10 min. He kept grabbing his arm and you could tell it hurt. Luckily we now know he is not allergic to bees.

Can't wait for the splash pad to be built and glad we could help out with a fun night together as a family and great neighbors!

GR Trip

This last week we headed to my home town. My sister took the girls to her house for a week to play with cousins and we met them at my parent home to get them back. It was a great weekend! I was able to see all of my siblings. We played games, talked, ate good food, and of course took pictures. This is the best family picture we have right now.

My mom and Ms M. Ms M still is having problems every now and again with sleeping at night. She struggled at my parents home and so she was held a lot.

My sisters.

I love this picture. While we were unpacking from our trip Ms M. had such a concerned look on her face. She has great hearing and knew something was going on.

Park fun with cousins.

My parents and siblings.

Buddy Boy did a lot of this at the grandparents home. He wanted to go play with the older kids so badly but would get into too much trouble downstairs.

So he just had to watch the action from the top of the stairs. So cute!

It was a great trip and I'm glad we were able to take some pictures. I'm not sure when we will all be together again. Have a great day!

Mini Photo Shoot

I am not a photographer. I always get these really good ideas and then get frustrated when they don't turn out the way I pictured them in my head. I was pleased with four of the however many pictures I took of Ms M. We decided the black and white were cuter. Which picture do you like best?

a)

b)

c)
or
d)

RB likes c the best and I think I'm leaning toward a. Hope you enjoy!
