This past week has been crazy. Not as crazy as some people's but it seems this last week of Feb. was kind of weird for everybody. Now that the weather is warming up I hear every day from MJ, "When the snow smelts can we go to the park?" She is getting house crazy. So I have been trying to take them on walks. Little Lil loves the street and loves mud puddles. On one of our walks this week she found three of them. Needless to say when we got home we immediately changed into PJ's for the rest of the evening.
MJ has always been pretty good when it comes to staying out of trouble. She would rather throw the temper tantrum. Well that is slowly changing. This week has been crazy with MJ doing new things. One is showing Lil how to marker over chairs and our blinds. She did make a cool looking face but we were still not very happy with her desicion to marker over everything.
School for me this past week was very emotional. I had 2 major incidents happen and all five students involved happened to be in my class. Wed. I was taking care of these issues so that my other students had to teach each other. They did really good with it though and some really enjoyed being the teacher. I'm also grateful for my co-workers who helped check in on my class to make sure they were okay. To make it worse one of the incidents made the news. Not fun, and a lot of worry and stress on my part. All is better now and things are finally back to normal.
While I was having fun doing all of this RB was busy having Parent Teacher Conferences. He got home late a couple of days because of them and we were both ready for the weekend. It was a great one even though we were busy.
On Sat. we went to the Draper temple. I guess they had a sign up saying not to take pics. in front of the temple but I missed it. Sorry. It was a great time. Lil cried through most of it but we still enjoyed ourselves. It was a long walk with many people. MJ enjoyed looking at the pretty lights.
On Sun. we had dinner at RB's parents home and had a wonderful visit. RB was released from the Young Men's as well. He loved that calling even though he has been in there for almost 4 years. He was called to be over the Val. 10's in Primary. He is excited to be in Primary and it will be nice having him home on Tues. nights. The bad part about this weekend is Lil and MJ are both sick again with coughs and runny noses. That is why I am home today taking care of them. It's been good though because I have been able to clean. I've done the dishes, three loads of laundry, and now that Lil is awake again I can vacuum. Well I'm off to clean some more. Ta ta for now and have a GREAAAAT day!

Lessons Learned on Feb. 21, 2009
Today I learned three very important lessons that I thought I would share.
1) Watch what you do with your hubby when the kids are around. Today MJ got upset when daddy would not give her "married kisses."
2) Never assume the driver of the vehicle has the keys. Sometimes they end up on the seat and then when you lock the doors manually you have no keys, in Logan, at WALMART of all places. The second best part was the locksmith struggled opening the door stating this was by far the hardest car he has had to open. The best part was he opened it by pushing the unlock button on our keys sitting on the seat. Thankfully the key pad was facing up and not down. Communication is the key.
3) Always bring my extra set of keys with me.
Hope you had a great day!!

Little Lil and MJ Update
Lil has entered the independent stage. She now wants to do everything from pour her milk, to get herself dressed. I remember MJ hitting this stage too, but I don't think it was at 1 1/2 years! We have had some good struggles with the diaper too. She thinks she's big stuff and can do it all on her own. Most of the time I let her struggle with it until she gives up and lets me help her with it.
This is Lil putting her pants on. Yes, they are inside out but if it weren't for that diaper they would be on all the way.
Look how cute...and QUIET she is!
This is a new game she likes to play. Dump everything on the floor and make a big mess. Sometimes she even likes to stomp on it afterwards.
One morning I got Lil up and she was walking kind of funny. (hint: Look at her foot.)
Know what it is yet?
She was so proud when I pulled that phone out of her PJ's. She thought she was so funny!
It's a good thing my b-sitters know how to do hair. Otherwise my kids would never have their hair done. They style their hair so cute!! I had to take pics. of these ones.
Today during nap time I went up to check on the girls. This is how I found MJ. I was lucky to get a pic. of it because she really isn't asleep, just trying to.
Each day brings new surprises with these two. Love 'em tons!!

update
Me: Hey MJ will you please put the toilet seat lid down so Lil won't throw the diaper in there.
MJ: Oh yea, because if the does that it will be awful dangerous.
It's been awhile since I have blogged. Life has been crazy good. Lil was sick for about a week or two and passes it on through the rest of us. Then when I thought we were all doing better RB decides to get sick again. He found out Mon. that it is bronchitis. He has been home sick 3 of the 4 days so far this week. He's going back tomorrow and hopefully will be fine.
RB and I have made the insane decision to go back to school and get our masters. As we were looking at options we found a college that is pretty cheap. We both can get it for the price of one at another place. So RB asked if I wanted to get it with him and I jumped in heads first. I would probably do the reading with RB anyways so now I can just earn it with him. I'm really excited and nervous. I probably would never go and get it after RB got him. This has always been a dream for me though. I'm pumped. If all goes well we will start March 9th.
Well Lil is screaming at me right now so I'd better go and cook dinner. Talk to you later.

It's Pink
While I was cleaning cracker crumbs and what off the floor today MJ comes up and states, "Mom you can't throw that away." She picks up a small pink thing and adds with a slight duh tone, "it's pink" and walks away.
P.S. I found the pink thing again on the floor this afternoon. Here is a pic. of it before I threw the thing away. SHH don't tell MJ!
