Monday started with a visit to Newport's Historic Bay Front. It was fun to walk by the bay and all the shops. The kids got to spend their money in the shops too. They enjoyed candy and toys. While we were there RB found a place where we could go crabbing.
Then we headed to Yaquina Bay. Here we walked through the lighthouse and saw the bridge. We drove over the bridge when we were done and then came back just to say we went over it. It's a good thing we did too because we found the Aquarium that we went to later on in the week.
Once back at the condo we headed to the beach again to fly our new kites. We were told to bring them and we forgot. So we bought two and the kids loved it.
Lil decided she wanted to go back to the condo. So I told her to grab her shoes and she could go. She turned around and could not find her shoes. Yes, she had taken them off close to the water and the water had taken them out to sea. We searched up and down the coast for awhile and I told her to just go back without them. After she started to go, I turned around and saw one of the shoes. I turned around again and saw the other one had washed up too. We were so lucky they washed back up and were not lost for good. Her shoes were covered in seaweed but we were okay with that.
Notice how Buddy Boy has a new outfit. Yep, he has his birthday suit on underneath.
Of course the day ended with relaxing in the hot tub.
