Andy K "Captain Aggie" Pedersen

RB's dad passed away on July 13th. RB said the perfect quote, "My dad didn't die from Parkinson's Disease, he lived through it." How true that was. Andy loved fishing, hunting, USU Aggies, Disneyland, playing in the band, his harmonica, Honey the cat, trains, the gospel, and his family. He will be deeply missed. 

RB was lucky enough to spend the day with his dad. He went over that morning to help do little jobs. Then his dad laid down to take a nap. He never woke up. He died peacefully and now he is not in any more pain. What a blessing that is. 

His funeral and viewing was beautiful. Lots of stories, hugs, and memories were shared. RB got his family Capt. Aggie shirts and they all wore them to the viewing. That was pretty cool seeing them all in their shirts. (When I get copies of the pics, I'll post them.) RB and his brothers all did a fabulous job on their talks. They shared some great memories at the funeral service. Lots of love and support for his mom! So grateful for my testimony of eternal families and life after death. This is not the end, and we will be with Andy for eternity! Til we meet again dad!  

24th Celebrations

We are so lucky to live where we do. We get fireworks for two holidays in the month of July. That means we could see fireworks up to 4 times. I love fireworks! The kids had fun playing bocce ball, throwing the frisbee/football, and playing at the park. Then the next night we went with the family. My brother-in-law got my phone and took about 40 pics. of himself with funny faces. Oh family! :) The kids had fun making themselves glow. We had a great time celebrating our pioneer history with family!   

4th of July Fun

For the 4th of July we went to my sisters home this year. We went boating two days and I got to water-ski. I forgot how much your body hurts after water skiing. It was a blast though. The kids liked being pulled on the tube, and playing on the beach. My sister and her hubby did a great job on the fireworks show. It was big, and long. We only had two small brush fires, and two fireworks exploded on the ground. RB went fishing too. The one night they went he had caught 6 six before my brother-in-law even got his pole ready. The next morning it wasn't as good, but they still had fun. It was so fun to spend some time at my sisters. We definitely want to go back next summer!

After we left my sisters we went to Steamboat Springs, CO. We spent a few days there. We couldn't bike because of RB's leg but we went on a short hike, swam, went to the gardens, and vegetated. It was a good little vaca. before heading home.
