Lil's Understanding of the Baby

I had a doctor appointment yesterday after school. It was decided that since I am more than likely going to go into labor sometime this week based on how far I have progressed to just start me. RB has a school meeting this morning, and my doctor will be gone on Wed. So we decided Tues. afternoon (today) I'll get started. RB went to school and I'm staying home for the rest of the week.

This morning while eating breakfast I'm explaining to MJ and Lil how they are going to have a new baby brother today or early tomorrow morning. Lil goes, "But I already have a baby brother in mom's tummy." I go yes but now he's not going to be in my tummy. He'll be out so we can hold him. She goes, "Yea, and then you can hold me again." Because my tummy is go big Lil hasn't been able to sit on my lap very well and I can't carry her. She is super excited that I get to carry her again. She is so funny. MJ just smiles the whole time because she's understands better what is going on.

Well this may be my last post for awhile. I'll post pics when I get back home and am feeling up to it.

Brigham City Temple

On Sat. we went to see the Brigham City Temple. The girls loved it! MJ was fascinated at seeing the temple not all the way built yet. I can't wait to go back in a month or two to see the progress they have made.

The Boy's Room

RB is super excited to have a baby boy. Last weekend we painted his room, got all the extra storage stuff moved downstairs, and got all the baby clothes organized. RB really wanted to have an Aggie room. I was okay with that as long as not all the walls were Aggie blue. That is too dark of a room. So we did a focus wall in Aggie blue and put up some Aggie decals. The decals were a pain because the plastic stuff was SUPER sticky. Once we got them off though they turned out really well.

The girls had fun helping painting and I helped some when the smell wasn't so strong.


This decal was just big. Easy to get off but big.


This is the decal that I wanted to hurt. It was such a pain. Looks good now but a pain to get up. There are so many little sticker parts that don't attach to anything.

I'm glad we are done and ready for the little boy to come. Now he just has to get here.

Tired MJ

Mondays are the hardest day of the week for MJ. Not only do we start our getting up early routine but she goes to Kindergarten too. She does really well throughout the day so stay happy and not fight with her sister. However, when 8pm hits she is ready for bed and passes out within minutes.

Every now and again I can tell MJ is extra tired. Usually this happens on Monday but this week it was Thursday. I told MJ she had to wait to do something and the tears came. She went storming up to her room pouting, and mad at me. I went up a little while later and this is what I found.



She was asleep on her bed with both feet strapped into her and Lil's pillow-pets. It was so cute I had to get a picture of it. Luckily a little nap did the trick and she was back to her happy self.

As we were cleaning up the cards from our matching game I asked Lil to please hand me some cards that were out of my reach. As I was pointing to them, Lil grabbed my finger and pulled, trying to get me closer to the cards so I could reach them. She soon realized that was not going to work (with my big belly in the way) and put the card in my hand instead. I just laughed, it was so cute.

WAC Pics

RB finally made it home last night around 7pm. It was so good to have him back. All of us really missed him. He was good too, to get some pics. He sent me this Friday morning while I was at school proclaiming just how much he hates breakfast. haha.


Here is his dad once again. He truly is Aggies #1 fan.

When RB got home we had to watch the end of the game again. No that split second I thought was him probably wasn't. However, if you knew where to look you can see him and sometimes him mom during the last 1-2 min. of the game. They moved down some seats to be closer to the court. Sure enough once RB pointed out where he was sitting you could see him multiple times during the last minute and then we have no idea where he is once everyone storms the court.

He had a lot of fun and I'm glad he enjoyed the break. Hopefully we can win on Thurs. down in Arizona. We will be watching the game on the big screen if anyone wants to come over and join us.

More WAC

RB sent me this picture from his phone. It is of his dad and Tyler Newbold, one of the USU senior players. Hopefully he has some more that I can share.

Since the game was on TV and I have it recorded I was able to go back and re-watch the end where all the fans are storming the court. After much pausing and slow motioning we see RB's dad about 3 times, and their MIGHT be a second where you see RB walking by. It's just the side of his face but I'm pretty darn sure that it is him. hehe. When he gets home we'll see if he agrees.

WAC Champs - GO AGGIES!

This weekend was the WAC conference tournament. Due to the current condition in which I am in I was not able to attend. However, RB went with his parents down to Vegas and enjoyed the games and most importantly the win! Friday night was a close game and since it wasn't on TV, I had to listen to it on the radio while playing games with my mom and girls. Then last night we watched the game and searched the fans for RB. We didn't see him but we did see his dad after the game where everyone was storming the court. MJ and Lil thought that was great to see grandpa on TV. I'll have to go back and re-watch to see if I can't find RB. I'm glad he was able to go, have fun, and watch the Aggies win. Since I wasn't there I had to steal this picture off the internet. We'll see if RB has any when he comes home. Now we get to go dancing and hopefully we will win our first game this year.


So while RB was off in 75 degree weather, we had a girls weekend. My mom and dad came down to visit some train buddies. So while my dad was off playing us girls played games and talked. It was a good relaxing weekend. I also was able to convince Lil she needed a haircut. I just trimmed it and hopefully this will help with the snarls her hair always gets.

The only bad thing about this weekend is MJ has a fever. Saturday night and last night she burned up all night. Saturday day however, she was fine and didn't have a fever at all. Hopefully a day at home today will be good for her and we can keep the fever gone tonight. Hope you all had a great weekend too!
