First of February

Feb. started right with an Aggie vs BYU Gymnastic meet. Yes, the Ags won and yes, we had a great time watching and cheering. 

Isabel really wanted her picture with these Aggie fans who were at the meet too.

So you know all that snow we got in Jan. Well, with rainfall on top of warm weather you get a lot of water. Round one, we got a little flooded. Water was seeping in around all edges and we fixed our sump pump that we have never had to use in 11 years. Now that is is up and going round 2 we have had no problems. Now our neighbors had no problems during round 1 but did during round 2. I'm not complaining though. First time in 11 years is not bad. We have made the news twice for how much our town has flooded. So Jan. was full of snow, and so far Feb. has been full of water. 

It's a good thing the sump pump wasn't working. If it had turned on we would have flooded from the top down. Now it connects to the backyard and works like a charm.  

I'm so glad we only needed one Valentine box this year! MJ did get a rose from a boy who bought roses for every 6th grade girl. Buddy Boy was disappointed with his Valentine bag that ripped and he threw it away before I could even see it. Then Ms M did a bag too at school. Lil did a great job with her Batman box! 

For Valentines this year our ward had a social. Ok, lets call it what it was. It was a dance! We had fun though. Tons of cookies, good variety of music, and fun times visiting with friends. I slow danced with all my kids, expect MJ who was at volleyball. I even dragged RB out for a slow dance and for a swing dance. Once again, I do not have many pictures right now. When I get more I will post them. 

January

I went picture stealing off the internet and found this one from the beginning of the year. Cool! :) 

All right now on to Jan. Jan has snowed, blowed, snowed, froze, and snowed. We had two snow days at school, and two late starts. WOW! Those never happen in our school district! With the snow has come much shoveling, and yes of course playing in the snow.

RB and I celebrated 15 years of marriage. For now I got pie, and we went out to eat. In June we are going to TX! Can't wait for the waterpark, and the BBQ.

When your baby sister won't sleep you resort to any measure to get some peace and quiet. 

 Ms M had a snow day at school and I went with her. I didn't get many pictures since her teacher did, but I don't have copies of those yet.

I went with Lil and her friend to a Fairy Tea Party. They painted nails, painted their face and stenciled their arm, made fairy dust, ate treats, made a rag doll, and made a flower hear band. It was a good two hours.

The school had an art night. 

Everybody loves reading and when a chair isn't good enough anymore try a box. 

When I saw the Em-A-Nator like this I had to laugh. It reminded me of MJ when she was this age looking almost exactly the same!

MJ now knows what it would feel like to have an older sister. :)
