I had the opportunity to go to Scout Day Camp with Buddy Boy. This was his first time going and it may be his last. We will have to see what the new program is when it comes out this next year. He had a good time. He loved all the different activities they get to do with gun shooting, bow shooting, rock climbing, fishing, zip lining, obstacle course, and bike riding. On the bike riding one they only had bigger bikes. He fell hard and hurt himself pretty bad. Luckily it was the last one, and he is tough. He had a great day!
We found three cute kittens in our window well. We were hoping the mom would come and get them. She didn't. So finally after 3 days RB got a box and got them out. One had a hurt foot but they all disappeared. So he must have made it. They hung out under our shed for a day, but then left and we haven't seen them since.
We went to the Manti Pageant as well. Since this is the last year we decided it was time to take the family. Once it actually started three kids instantly fell asleep, one made it through 15 min. of it, and only one stayed awake the whole time. Way to go Mayo! It was still a fun evening and I'm glad we did it!
Fathers Day was good. At least I hope it was good for RB. The girls and I went to three stores trying to find his gifts and we struck out each time. So he will have to get his turkey roaster closer to Thanksgiving, and I'm glad we didn't get PVC pipe for a portable screen for the projector. I would have made it completely different than what RB has in mind. We love all that RB does for this family as father and husband! He is the best!
For Young Womens they wrote letters to missionaries. Lil's letter got a return letter from her missionary. She wrote in rhymes and he wrote back the same way. How fun!
The kids wanted a blow up toy for their birthday parties. We decided instead of renting one for over $100 we would just invest in one and be able to use it multiple times. It was a good choice! The kids love it and use it every week. We have definitely used it more than if we just rented it.
We like to play games as a family. However, playing with a 4 year old adds an "Em-Factor" that we have to explain is okay if she does not follow all the rules. It was still a good time!
Sometimes when you want to go to bed, this is what you find. :) The book is Spanish. MJ was reading until Lil couldn't handle it anymore and took over. Haha! Bedtime stories are the best!
We love playing with our friends! We went up to Old Ephraim's Grave. Of course the kids had a good time!
Lil got an early birthday gift for girls camp. She loves it. I think the girls came back pretty clean from girls camp. They had a great time.
