Spring Break

For Spring Break we headed to one of our favorite vacation destinations. Vegas! We didn't do that much sitting this time though, but that just means we had some other good adventures. 

In-between swimming and being lazy we made sure to watch conference. 

 This is our ministering Brother and three of his kids. We met at the Las Vegas Temple and did Baptisms for the Dead. That was a really neat experience for the girls. RB's mom came with us. She has not done baptisms since she was a little girl and only did them once. So this was extra special for her. While we were inside RB was outside walking around with the littles. I felt bad though, because it took us about 2 hrs to get back out. That is a long time to be waiting. They had a good time walking around and talking. 

One day we went hiking. We had heard about the Valley of Fire State Park and decided to try it out. It has a lot of short hikes and then a couple of longer ones. We opted to do the shorter ones this time. MJ LOVED the petroglyphs. Buddy loved climbing on all the rocks with his daddy. Mom LOVED taking pictures of all the flowers. It was a good time to come as the flowers were in bloom and there were many colors to see. Overall, we all had a great time!

We took the family to eat at a new buffet. It is at The M Resort. It was divine! EVERYBODY enjoyed the food and we all overate! We enjoyed it so much we only got one picture of the food, and that was a dessert plate. :( Then RB and I went out together to the Rusted Spoon. It's a fancy place where they serve everything in little portions. This one was not as good of food as the other one. We both were a little disappointed in it. RB did love the shrimp and grits, and I loved the chocolate covered strawberry. Definitely really good food on this trip! 

 Swimming is always a must. I was a dork though and forgot the gopro. So we don't have many pictures or videos. That is OK. We have plenty of other trips.
