Fair, Splashpad, & More

The County Fair has come and gone. Like always we went on family night and let the kids ride the rides. They of course had a great time.

We then went and found MJ's entry. She made it in Activity Days and we entered it. She won a blue first place ribbon which earned her $2. She loved it. After we found some dinner and headed home.

Our town put in a splash pad. We decided to go visit it before summer break was over with. MJ had a friend come too. They loved it. No, it doesn't have any cool water toys but the kids still enjoyed it!

 

 Yes, I was mean and didn't let Ms M out. She was supposed to take a nap but refused to sleep. She was very content the whole time though.

Luckily there is a normal playground right next to the splash pad. Of course, the kids enjoyed playing here too!

Then back to the water again.

After the splash pad the kids took baths. I noticed these marks on Ms M's belly and back. They were painful for her and we first thought it was a rash of some sorts. Well come to find out, sister MJ had dragged her across the carpet and it was carpet burn. The next day it looked a lot better and didn't hurt her so much.
